Nurse anesthetist was a rockstar. So superior to other one. Only feedback is warn the patient prior to sedating. Scott Shamblott never seen before procedure. A bit disturbing

I've never had a bad experience with Shamblott! Over several years I've slowly but surely restored my neglected teeth with the help of Dr. Scott, Dr. Claudia and especially Justin! It's a great team that has made going to the dentist much less stressful than in the past for me.

My wife Eve, and I have been patients of Scott Shamblott since his early days and can’t say enough good things about him and his staff! I showed up early on with a frightful dental situation brought on by years of neglect. Scott and company saved my grill and can for you too!

My daughter had a bridge chip in a way last night (a Friday) that it was sharp and digging into her cheek. We looked all Saturday morning for a dentist that was open and could fit us in as our normal dentist is not open Saturdays. I am glad we called Shamblott Family Dentistry! Dr. Shamblott was very kind and informative. He kindly smoothed down the chipped portion for free and sent us on our way with a free pair of sunglasses. We have been thinking of switching dentists to something closer to home, but after this my daughter asked if we can start going there.

I’ve been going to Shamblott for over 15 years, and bring my kids there. After an insurance change and then covid, I went back after not being to the dentist in over 3 years. They don’t judge or make you feel bad. Justin has great “bedside” manner and is very personable—he makes it an enjoyable experience.

I had 2 teeth drilled today. I'm scared of oral needles. Kathy, the Dental Assistant and Dr. Rachel were amazing. Kathy held my hand and Dr. Rachel was as quick as possible. They made me laugh and put me completely at ease. I honestly started failing asleep (no sedative) while Dr. Rachel was working drilling. This is my new dentist. They care! They want to help people have healthy teeth.

The hygienist was skilled, the dentist efficient. I really like that you know the cost of your visit when you walk in.

While I will give them credit for good dental work, I’ve had the most ridiculous experience in relation to billing. I went in for a broken tooth that required a crown. Upon examination they also told me the tooth next to that one was cracked and should also be replaced. They reviewed the cost with me (I paid $1k out of pocket that day) with the belief based on their exam and what I was told that this would be very close to the final amount. Throughout the work (two visits to get set up for the crown and another to have it installed), comprehensive X-rays and notes were taken for what I was told to be proof for the insurance company.

Turns out they submitted the second tooth as cosmetic which my insurance then denied for coverage and I ended up being billed completely out of pocket for that tooth (another $1k on top of what I already paid). Repeated attempts to have them fix this have been unsuccessful as they only seem to care about collecting their thousand dollars from me and not doing the work to properly submit it to insurance.

I should have been suspicious of something as I sat in the waiting room multiple times there were customer complaints at the front desk in regards to billing issues and the cost of procedures, but I was in pain and needed my issue fixed and now feel taken advantage of.

I have always received excellent care at Shamblott Family Dentistry in Hopkins. Since my first emergency visit in 2018 I knew I had found my new team of dentists. I can't say enough great things about them.

This was a long procedure, but I think it went better by allowing healing time.
Dr. Shamblott and all his staff were excellent, professional and understanding.
I'm happy with my new dentures, and I feel good about the whole process. I will recommend them to anyone.
