I must say…. EVERYONE I meet there was absolutely, pleasant to be around. Even my baby let the Dentists Assistant (Kathy) hold her, to help keep my baby entertained. And she never does that with anyone she doesn’t know, she liked her as well as I. They all gave us a great experience to remember!! I originally decided to visit Shamblott based on ads I heard on AM950 in the past... back in the days where we used to commute to offices.
The staff and dentists are all excellent from my experiences, and very good at working with people like myself with deep-seated fears of dentists.
Dr. Henson immediately recognized my needs to ensure I had a pain-free experience. While I don't think I'll ever fully shake my fear of dental work, I feel as confident as I possibly can that my visits here will be pain-free and as comfortable as possible.

I have finally found a pretty good dental office after avoiding the dentist for the last 5 years. I definitely have a few obstacles to conquer now and having severe dental anxiety doesn’t make this an easy task either. I am confident with this dental team that’s working with me now. I have been to 4 appointments so far, the next one is coming up on the 1st of November. If you are looking for patience and understanding this is the place to go.

Disappointed with scheduling. Despite booking months in advance, was called and asked to change my appointment due to scheduling problems. After that change, was called again a month later and told I had to change my appointment again due to a hygienist shortage. I don't find this acceptable and asked for someone else to get bumped since I was already inconvenienced once. Was told there was nothing that could be done. Really? Poor customer service. Now due to my schedule, my appointment is delayed 3 months.

I had a really good experience at Shamblott. I had been so afraid of the dentist that I avoided dental care for years. Of course, I then had problems and required a root canal and crown. All of the staff were so friendly, gentle, and kind that I was able to feel at ease. I especially appreciated Maricar and Kathy. Dr. Shamblott assured me that he could adequately numb my mouth, and he did. It ended up being painless and I feel like the experience cured my dental phobia.

I have always been pretty adverse to visiting the dentist but my family has loved going to Shamblott since they opened the St. Paul office. I was in pretty good pain and had to visit - and I could not feel better about my experience. While I had to have two teeth pulled, they were quick, painless and awesome through the entire process.

Shamblott Family Dentistry likes to shame their patients into getting additional procedures that aren't actually necessary. I went in for a cleaning and was told I needed a root canal but it would not be covered by insurance (even though my insurance clearly stated it would cover 80% of the cost). I was told I needed two root canals, but upon visiting another office I was informed only one was needed. I'm not even stressing about the insurance error; I am more upset about how the dental hygienist staff team repeatedly shamed me out for my dental health and thought it was okay to talk about patients in the common area. This was the least compassionate healthcare facility I have ever been too. There are many other places out there that will do a better job; avoid this place!
