I had the most exceptional experience at Shamblott Family Dentistry! My last dentist left me feeling bad about my teeth, recommending expensive and unnecessary procedures, making me hesitant to go anywhere for dental care. But from beginning to end, I was so impressed and relaxed! The environment was friendly, clean and FUN yet professional (i.e., staff giving each other and patients high fives, singing along to overhead music, putting patients at ease by telling funny jokes and stories). Justin, my dental hygienist was so wonderful and hilarious, I had to end our time together with a hug! Dr. Claudia de Llano was so gentle, informative and has a lot of passion for her work and her patients. Though it was only my first appointment, I feel confident and actually excited to go back to Dr. Claudia de Llano!

Had a fractured tooth over the weekend and was between dentists, I've seen the television ads as well as the radio ads so figured I'd call, I really hoped to get in the same day and was basically told to come as soon as I could, arrived had to fill out the cursory forms and was seen by Dr Shamblott himself, very pleasant conversation then the dirty work starts,, I was given the option of nitrous and opted for that,, (was a great idea), did not feel the local and Dr did palate injection didn't feel it, my tooth was difficult to remove but before I knew it poof it was out,, aahhh. I can highly recommend Shamblott dentistry the staff is excellent Deb was awesome and (understanding), I'll be back.

I highly recommend this dentristy! I hadn't been to the dentist in a few years and they took great care of me. Everyone from the receptionist to the dentist was extremely helpful and friendly. The cleaning was gentle and not painful at all. They did not make me feel guilty for any lack of maintenance that I had done but were rather informative. They are everything I would want out of a good dental practice. I was very pleased with my experience.

I had an emergency Tooth extraction because of an abscess infection. The care was gentle and professional. They explained was was going to be done and gave me details of how the event was progressing.
I was glad they were able to fit me in as a first time patient on such short notice. And I would recommend them to anyone who is apprehensive about going to a dentist.

Visited these folks on a Saturday for a chipped tooth that I needed repaired immediately due to my traveling out of the country the next day. Squeezed me in with no hassle, did consultation, took x-rays, and wound up smoothing out the tooth causing discomfort. Made digital x-ray files immediately available to me via secure email so that I could forward them to my regular dentist for followup. Terrific service by all office staff, hygienist, and dentist.

Not sure how to review but the dentist and hygienist 5 stars. The front desk gets 1. They were very unkind and made us feel like we were worthless because we had a discount dental plan that they hadn't seen before and didn't accept. Because of them, we will not be back. Too bad because everything else was great but there is a dentist on almost every corner.

Dr. Shamblott is a nice guy who genuinely cares about his patients. He is also a wonderful neighbor of ours. Sadly we can not say the same for his staff. We had called well in advance to make arrangements for our daughter, a patient of Shamblott dentistry. She needed to have her wisdom teeth removed while she was home on a short visit from college. She attends college out of state. Special requirements needed to be followed which had been explained in detail when the appointment was made. We arrived prior to the appointment time only to find that the person taking the appointment had not followed through with scheduling the needed anesthesiologist. Then a staff member told us that a doctors authorization was needed. This was never mentioned when the original appointment was scheduled. No one in the front office seemed to care that they had failed to make the needed arrangements, that unpaid time off from work was taken. All that was offered was to schedule us the next week (just days before our daughter had to fly back to college) for a single tooth removal using nitrous oxide (laughing gas). We confirmed that appointment...and again showing up prior to the scheduled time only to find out that once again the appointment was not listed on their daily schedule. Dr. Shamblott stayed late to do this procedure which sadly did not go well at all. Not his fault. It seems that nitrous oxide has the reverse effect on our daughter, causing her to become very emotional and cryee. Not one person in the office seemed to care that all of this was unnecessary had the original person taking the appointment done their job and scheduled it as needed and had given us ALL the needed information. Not one person offered an I am sorry. Instead they were more concerned about discussing their New Years Eve party plans, one staff member discussing at great length how she was driving up north. Other staff members discussing what food was still left in the back that everyone had brought in. We hope that they all enjoy their parties tonight. As for us we will be nursing a daughter who is in a great deal of pain, unable to eat, sleep. Dr. Shamblott, thank you for staying late and at least trying. Maybe come the new year you will meet with your staff and go over what customer service means. That we the patients are the ones paying their salaries. With out the patients there would be no Shamblott Dentistry. We do wish you blessings in this coming year.
