Aspen Dental

Needed new dentures so i went to aspen dental. Everyone there was friendly and courteous. All my appointments were on time, no waiting.
The dentures fit well, i am very satisfied. Would highly recommend Aspen
dental.

I had a good experience at the office. But a couple days after an extraction I was in a lot more pain so I called and was told by the answering service I’d get a call back in about 20 min - no call back. So I called again. Still no call back.

Very disappointed in this dentist. Went in for filling and was told eventually would need a crown. I opted to have crown. The lady dentist was very nice and did a good job. I had left my other dentist who is wonderful due to insurance changes. What a mistake. My tooth was hurting really bad almost immediately after the Novocaine wore off. Went in told it didn't need a root canal and was given antibiotics. Saw the dentist for 1 minute. Didn't even get to ask him questions. Went in for my permanent crown, doctor had left was told he'd be right back, I left after an hour of waiting and rescheduled. Went in to get the permanent crown, requested Novocaine because I was afraid it would hurt was told they prefer not to do it. Tooth hurt so bad I was crying. Did Novocaine after he put the new crown on only because the kind assistant asked. I did get a script for pain meds and antibiotics. On the way out office staff told me to call if it was still hurting, doctor leaves at noon. I called at 11 was told I would get a call back (I was crying on the phone...I'm not a baby I had a baby with no pain meds)...didn't get a call back, drove to office after making an appointment at my old dentist for second opinion. Waited for 10 to 15 minutes before we were told the doctor was on his way to the ferry but would call in a stronger pain med. I was told if it didn't get better to call Monday. Got the new pain meds, still crying. Saw my old dentist and what do you know? I needed a root canal, nasty stuff came out when they did it. I'm now in no pain. My old dentist office actually cared that I was in pain and bent over backwards to make it happen today so I didn't suffer over the weekend. Will not go here and wouldn't recommend it to even my worst enemy. I will be contacting the office when they reopen. I will say the front desk staff and the hygienist are nice.

Staff were very nice, but I spoke with maybe different receptionists or service members about the reason for my appointment (a cavity that was causing me pain). After a reschedule for a power outage that was no one’s fault, I call back to confirm my upcoming appointment and when they ask me why I tell them again (most likely the third or fourth time I mention my cavity). This time they tell me there’s only one dentist on site and they aren’t booking out fillings until the beginning of next year (at least 6 months out). Why would I wait that long if I’ve already told other people that it’s causing me discomfort?

Customer oriented. They were able to take a negative and turn it into a positive. They had an appointment conflict and needed to reschedule my appointment to earlier in the day. I had a deadline to get back to work in less than an hour. They were able to check me in, perform a thorough teeth cleaning, and check out in 40 minutes. Wow!

The only thing keeping this from a five star is that I had to reschedule.

The service was quick and efficient the staff was friendly and attentive to my needs. I was seen early in the morning and my dental work was completed later in the day. Great experience by a great team!

Called too schedule appointment, in September, got cancelled because “the dentist didn’t feel like coming in” rescheduled too October, than called 4 days before appointment too be told we don’t do any cleanings on first appointment, it’ll have too wait till July. If you’re a new patient save yourself the time and trouble and go somewhere else.

Another great visit for me on 03/03/2012 to the Plattsburgh office of Aspen Dental. They are polite and professional and, work with insurance to keep costs down. Thanks in particular to Gretchen and Tracy.

Very friendly staff. A little bit of a wait time, even with an appointment. Dentist was very quick and efficient. Seems a bit more expensive then advertised. Very nice that new patients without insurance, get free x-rays and exam.

Treated like cattle call in this office. Nobody introduced themselves or explain what they are doing. After having 4 wisdom teeth pulled gave zero follow up wasn’t even told what to watch for and was pushed out of the office still completely drugged. Never told they called in a prescription for pain meds or antibiotics and have no idea why the need for antibiotics. The only person who does their job is the receptionist. If I had any other choice with my insurance I would never go back! Have already canceled all further appts
