Pleasant Plains Dental

I'm a nervous nelly with dentists and new to the area. I saw the reviews and took a chance. The entire process from scheduling an appointment as a new patient through the visit was easy. The waiting room and exam rooms are clean and nicely decorated. My hygienist was amazing and put me at ease quickly. She was gentle with the cleaning yet thorough. The dentist was also friendly and made quick work of his exam portion.

Pleasant Plains Dental is the best experience I have had because everyone around me is so kind and it makes me feel comfortable. This is my 1# place and I would recommend it to others.

I was so impressed with a woman named Marcy (I think this is how you spell her name) who cleaned my teeth with lots of patient and advice. I don't know about you guys but Marcy is like an angel that came from heaven. If anybody feels scared or nervous going to a dentist, come on down to Pleasant Plains Dental. They have showed me every room in that place. The receptionist lady was so generous to me even my son who's eleven made him feel happy and calm. I will soon be back to Pleasent Plains Dental

I have absolutely nothing but wonderful things to say about pleasant plains dental. All of their staff is so kind and helpful. They seem to be incredibly organized! Our 3 boys don't mind going to the dentist because the experiences have only been pleasant, that's even including fillings and 1 extraction. Dr. C just recently did a filling and extraction on our youngest son (he's 8) and our son never knew he was having a tooth removed (i didn't tell him). Dr. C talked to cooper the entire time so cooper felt very comfortable, the TV on the ceilings help also. The next morning Dr.C called to check on him as well. Prior to pleasant plains i hadn't taken the boys to the dentist in years because of past terrible experiences at another place so It really is a big deal that our boys feel comfortable.

I LOVE this office. They are all so friendly especially Kayla. She was so gentle cleaning my teeth and was so personable. I also appreciate the fact that you can get anything that you need done to your teeth done at this one office instead of being sent to two different offices downtown Charlotte.

I went to Pleasant Plains in Monday after suffering with a toothache all weekend. I was told my tooth was cracked and was referred to Ballentyne Endontics. After they reviewed my insurance coverage, I found out my insurance had a six month waiting period and I would have to pay out of pocket. My husband and I discussed the procedure and decided we could not put the astronomical amount of money in a tooth even though we would like to save it. I then called Pleasant Plains and scheduled an appointment to have this tooth extracted. I am 60 years old and have never had a tooth pulled and was scared to death because of the pain I had been in. Dr. Chris Archer was an answer to my prayers. I explained to him how nervous I was and he assured me I would not be in pain. He told me I had what a dentist calls a "hot" tooth. He had to cut some bone away to get the tooth extracted. I can honestly say he was my angel. If I even winced he stopped and asked me if I was in pain. If you have to have any dental work done, Dr. Chris Archer is the dentist I would recommend you to see. And again Dr. Chris, THANK you for being so gentle with me and keeping me out of pain.

Pleasant Plains Dental is an awesome practice.
The entire staff is very friendly and amazing.
They are very thorough with your care and go out of their way to make you feel comfortable.
Especially Kayla, the Hygienist, she’s amazing.

My husband and I recently moved from Florida and were in need of a great dentist. Peasant Plains Dental did not disappoint. The dental assistant Kelsey and dental hygienist Kayla were both sweet, efficient, and thorough. Dr. Ali was wonderful! We had a great experience and certainly recommend to others!

They've always been very accommodating, the staff is helpful, Dr. Ernst had a lot of options to offer me as far as treatment plans that fit my budget. Recently my mother who has ALZ became a new patient and they were fantastic with her. I highly recommend Pleasant Plains dental for the entire family!

I have been going to Pleasant Plains Dental since I moved here in 2015 and I have always had an amazing experience. I have moderate to severe anxiety and Dr. Ernst has always gone out of his way to make me feel comfortable in his office. I don't think I've ever been able to say this about any other dentist, but I am looking forward to our next appointment!

Had my first trip to this practice this morning and I would say that it certainly exceeded my expectations. Having received their promotional flyers in the mail, I was expecting those to me general things designed to get my attention (which they did). However, what was sold to me in print, I fully got upon my first visit. A beautiful facility with many amenities (coffee, tea, Wifi access, computers/games for little ones) that make the place comfortable and enjoyable to be in while you wait. The staff was exceptionally friendly, and took care to explain everything to me since it was my first visit. They showed great concern and offered suggestions and instructions for my dental care. Dr. Ernst was exceptionally nice and comfortable to be around. And if all of that isn't enough, there is a TV on the wall and in the ceiling to view as you are being worked on. Doesn't get much better than this place. Really happy with my choice in dental care after this morning.
