I had an emergency tooth broke in front and I made my appointment with them. The office is beautiful and clean, the ladies that greeted were welcoming. Once I got to the room the dentist looked at what I needed done and told me "they'll get you put on the schedule to do that for you" and I was like I made the appointment with you because I thought you'd fix it today. Being a teacher I can't just take off whenever. So he decided to do it for me. Which I'm so grateful for. However he had his assistant create the color of my tooth. He fixed it in about 30 mins but it's not the same color as all my other teeth. I'm disappointed about that but I feel bad to complain as I knew they were fitting me in basically. I'm still going to continue my business with them in hopes they will correct the issue along with other work I need done.

My experience was amazing! I struggle with anxiety and all the staff made me feel extremely comfortable from the start! I would recommend Pleasant Plains to anyone looking for a great dentist no matter what procedure you may need!

Pleasant Plains Dental abandons the standardized approach to dentistry - it's mega sized designed to treat a massive amount of people - 18 rooms, dozens of staff, and so-called teams of dentists. I'm not sure if this trend is better or worse as there are inherent pros and cons that come with it. Dr. Henry Ernst, the founder of PPD, covered many small details intended to 'wow' patients - video games in the waiting area (albeit an old Mario Kart cartridge), coffee, tea, bottled water as refreshments. A 'homey' touch is a wall peppered with a few dark covered old books, statuettes and other items I guess meant to make people feel like home. Once you venture down long halls to your designated room, you'll find several monitors - one to view your Xrays and two overhead TVs to watch while work is being done. Also on hand is a monitor for the dentist where he/she can plan your next visit right then and there. On the plus side, I was able to get seen immediately when I had a recent abscess. The level of service was standard - actually nothing could be done until the infection subsided. Also, the dentist I saw (on a Thursday) was able to handle an extraction but not much more. None of the 'specialists' were there to discuss future work. Bottom line? All these extras are not free - we're paying for them in the prices that are charged. Also, if you strip away the facade, you have a basic dental practice - rather dental factory - that looks nice. And yes, the staff was very nice. But I would be nice too if I charged the prices PPD does.

Always such a great experience! I love the environment and the friendly staff! Not only has it been my favorite dental office, my kids love it too. It was very convenient that they scheduled both my kids for the same day and time.Kayla was my last hygienist and she was awesome, as all of them have been. I highly recommend for anyone.

I hate the dentist usually not the person the place. Kayla and Dr. Kim both really changed my mind about it. Thank you for such a wonderful experience. You made something unpleasant pleasant. Excited for my next appt.

I LOVE Pleasant Plains Dental!!! Dr. Ernst and his staff, especially Kayla, are absolutely AMAZING!!!

I used to go a few years ago until I changed jobs. Pleasant Plains Dental was no longer in-network for me, so I started going to another dentist. It just wasn’t the same, so I decided to pay whatever out-of-pocket to ensure I got the best care and experience. Then, I found out Pleasant Plains Dental had an affordable dental plan for people like me! You cannot pay me to go anywhere else!!!! #ClientForLife🤗❤️

I had my six month teeth cleaning today and as usual I had a very pleasant experience. Tatiana, dental hygienist, was excellent. Kennedy, dental assistant, was friendly and made me feel very comfortable during my visit. The dentist was very knowledgeable and attentive to my concerns about a sensitive tooth situation I have which she will continue to monitor. I always feel that I am in good hands at Pleasant Plains Dental.

I believe Dr. E is a great dentist. I do not believe this about the female dentist I had to see. It was a very quick encounter said I needed another filling on a tooth I just had filled. Was not happy when I questioned gave very trite and quick answers and she basically just walked out. Also this is the 1st time I’ve ever had an issue with a receptionist. I had to reschedule my appointment for a cleaning and she insisted it was only 30min so why couldn’t I just come in. I could not make that day I called serval days in advance to cancel. She said well you have to wait a year before you can be seen. After this last visit I’ll be going to a new practice we have been with this practice since it opened. I hated to believe all the bad reviews but having experienced it myself I have to agree. The office has changed a lot.

I went to them with a medical emergency and I had never been there before. They treated the problem right away. I needed a root canal and the sedation experience was very comforting. They were very professional and most importantly making me feel very comfortable and safe. After having a great experience with them I decided to leave my previous dental office and join the family of Pleasant Plains Dental for all my dental needs. I just had my first cleaning and again was very pleased with my hygienist. If your looking for a dental office that covers all areas and has the most updated technology, look no further you will be in good hands.
