Pleasant Plains Dental

This is actually Kimberly Braswell. It would not allow me to enter another review. I just found out they charged my insurance 299.00 for what I was told would be a FREE CONSULT. I was never at any time told there would be ANY CHARGES for a FREE CONSULT. Get ready for a dispute on these charges. Sorriest dental practice I have EVER encountered and there have been many. Actually 0 stars. I would go negative stars if I could.

The nicest dentist office I’ve ever been in and the staff was so welcoming and friendly. My hygienist I believe her name was Kayla was the best!!

I called today for a dental emergency. I had called several places and I was giving up hope. I called them after 12 and they got me in at 2pm! Everyone was very caring from the front desk, to the dentist himself. Thank you!

I had to have an emergency root canal and they got me in within one hour as a new patient and ever since then they have taken such good care of me and they’ve always been so kind and careful. Since then I have brought my 10 year old here as well and he has overcome his fear of the dentist now since going here. They do amazing work and they really care about their patients here I would highly recommend them.

I’ve been going to see Dr. Ernst and his team for several years now. I’ve had some pretty horrible experiences with dental visits prior to changing to Pleasant Plains Dental that have left me with some serious anxiety. This team has always went above and beyond to help ease my anxiety and they are truly amazing. Today I went in for a small cavity fill and also my cleaning. Kayla my hygienist was super amazing and so sweet. It was by far one of the easiest visits I’ve had so far. Thank you Kayla, you are awesome!

Highly recommend. Everyone here is so friendly and professional. They really care about you. So thankful for the Saturday appointment. Couldn’t believe it. So glad I found Pleasant Plains Dental. They really deliver a five star treatment. Big thank you to all the staff and dentists.

My whole family comes here and Everyone is so nice and accommodating! There is rarely a wait and honestly every Hygienist and Dentist I have had has been amazing. The office is beautiful as well. The best part to me is there are 1-2 nights a week they stay late, for a full time working professional that’s a blessing! And they have Saturday appointments too. The other great thing is if you have a balance that is hard to pay all upfront you can break out over a few months with their in house financing.

Now that I have finally received my refund I can post this review... Let us start out with the positive...the practice is clean and the dentist is nice enough and guides you through what he is doing in your mouth so there are no surprises. Unfortunately, my tooth was cracked during a routine root canal and I was in unbearable pain for days. I understand accidents happen, however my issues were with the lack of compassion and follow up--mainly from the front desk staff and/or assistants. I came back for 2 follow up visits after my root canal because the pain was so bad--they just prescribed me additional antibiotics. The dentist never took a look at my tooth until I finally politely demanded that something be done. He determined that the tooth was cracked and cysts had developed--recommended removal. The removal went fine and the hygenist indicated I would be getting a refund. I followed up numerous times during the month waiting for my check...I was told it was in the mail. Last time I checked it didn't take a month for a piece of mail to reach Concord. I finally had to go in there myself and have them write me a check for what was owed to me. Interestingly enough, the check they said was in the mail never came. I would have thought that given the miserable experience I had --issuing a timely refund or providing prompt communication would be the least they could do. Guess not.
What an unfortunate experience. I am writing this warn others.

I recently went to Pleasant Plains Dental for procedure that I put off for over a year because my anxiety was too much every time I thought about it. But Kayla was the most understanding comforting and sweetest hygienist I've ever had the experience to work with. She made a procedure that I was very nervous about very tolerable and she made me feel very comfortable.

I would highly recommend Pleasant Plains Dental to anyone that has ever been nervous about going to the dentist they are great!!!

My hygienist’s name is Kayla and when I tell you that she is incredible, I mean it in more ways than one. The dentist is somewhere I am extremely uncomfortable and Kayla did not skip a beat to offer support when I felt overwhelmed. On top of being an incredible patient advocate, she also relates to her patient’s lives outside of the office by sharing encouragement, experiences, or best yet, an ear to listen. She takes every piece of the puzzle in what makes a great experience and gives 100% of her self to create that. I am so grateful to have finally found a dentist that I feel excited to go, even if it’s not for the best situations. Thank you Kayla for everything and I will see you soon!
