Aspen Dental

Aspen dental is absolutely amazing. My husband was a walk in and they did everything they could to help him out without draining the wallet! I will highly recommend Aspen Dental to anyone!

Made the first available appointment and told them it was an emergency as I was having 2 teeth that had me in excruciating pain. Went to my appointment and they only would do X-rays and exam. I left with no procedures, antibiotics or pain meds. My appointment was 12/29/22 and with the New Year’s weekend being next, what am I supposed to do? Then the only next available appointment is for 01/04/23. Guess I’m just stuck in pain over these next 6 days??

When I arrived at Aspen Dental, I was greeted by the receptionist with a warm smile. The staff, nurse, dentist,and hygienist were all very friendly and professional. I have made appointments for my immediate family members to Aspen Dental.

My child's dentist does not have an after hours number so I called Aspen dental. They are listed as an emergency dentist open till 9pm on Saturdays and Sundays. When I called and spoke with a person around 4:30 p.m. on 2/25/23 she said that she couldn't schedule my child to be seen because we were not already existing patients. My 9-year-old had fallen down on the concrete and had badly chipped her two permanent front teeth! My child was scared and in a lot of pain! By the woman's tone of voice, I could tell she DID NOT CARE. I asked if she had any recommendations for me at all, like another phone number to call or should I take her to the ER or anything and she said "sorry." And then got off the phone. I cannot believe Aspen dental is listed as emergency care and will not even offer advice to anyone who is not their patient!

After calling around to some other places, I spoke with Rasheeda from Smile Makers. (We are not a patient of theirs either.) She spoke on the phone with me for 20 or so minutes helping me Google other places I could call, because they did not have an on call dentist, only a nurse's line. Quite a vast difference in staffing. I could definitely tell Rasheeda from Smile Makers cared, and the woman from Aspen dental could not get off of the phone fast enough.

I'll preface this review with the fact that I would give only one star if it weren't for Sierra and the rest of team.

During my visit to the Prattville, AL location a week ago, I received a consultation from a dental hygienist named Lori. I only know her name because I had to ask another employee for it since she never introduced herself. Lori came across as abrasive and very nonchalant. She was knowledgeable, but her delivery of the information was condescending. When I asked her if a dental cleaning would help my situation, she remarked "I could clean and polish your teeth, slap you on the hiney, and send you on your way, but that won't help you." Eventually, I spoke with the office/finance manager to schedule a possible future visit, and I expressed to her that I would really like a dental cleaning since I had not had one in several years and currently have limited access to dental care. She was able to place me on the dental hygienist's schedule for a cleaning since the hygienist was done with her appointments for the day. Soon after, Lori brought me to the back and she didn't speak unless it was to direct me. She administered 8-10 shots of what I assumed was Novocaine throughout my entire mouth in the span of a minute. I'm not sure what it was because she gave no warning or explanation of what she was going to do. I've never had a single shot of anesthesia during previous cleanings so I was a little shocked that she gave shots at all. I've had previous dental procedures that required anesthesia and the doctors that performed those procedures would only numb one side of my mouth during a visit. This is another reason I was taken aback by the number of shots Lori gave me. Additionally, the speed at which she administered the shots felt rushed and borderline careless. She was very rough with my head during the cleaning and moved through it at a very rapid pace which also felt unsafe. At the end of it, she gave me a special mouthwash and toothpaste with instructions and sent me on my way with no farewell or pleasantry. I got the sense that she was displeased with having to do the cleaning and took it out on me. My right jaw near where she gave me one of the many shots has been in pain ever since that visit. It has decreased little by little with each passing day, but it still hurts when I chew on that side of my mouth. It is starting to feel like a legitimate concern. I feel people should be able to trust healthcare professionals to do their best to take care of us while not causing further damage. I feel Lori failed both of these. She made me feel unsafe and I am now still dealing with the effects of her carelessness a week later. I called the location to voice my displeasure and I will not be returning to any Aspen Dental locations in the future.

Aspen Dental is a GREAT dentist place everyone is so nice &kind! Today 2-9-23 was my first appointment there &I was treated like I had been going there forever! I love them⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I have never met a more kind and compassionate staff at a dental office in all my life! The transparency of the pricing and the attitude of the ENTIRE staff to help is above what any normal staff would do- I feel fortunate to have the dental team from Prattville Aspen Dental guiding mine and my family’s dental health.

I really enjoyed each day of my appointment the whole staff is very nice and caring I am so glad I went to Aspen Dental because my Dental work is the best I am so happy with my Dentures thank you Merry Christmas And Happy New Years!

My teeth have been breaking off, coming out and such. I was to ashamed to let anyone look in my mouth. But my daughter motivated me to go and with her by my side I went! I cannot put into words how great all of them are! I cried when I found out that they are getting me a new smile before the end of the month, which happens to be my birthday! I recommend them 100% The lady that helped with the financial part was amazing. She was so sweet and had nothing but great things to say. Thanks to her and her team I will be able to smile again! Thanks you all!

Absolutely the worst experience of my life. Made an emergency appointment with their contact center. They scheduled a new patient appt instead. The technician assigned to me, tried to take lunch before I had even seen the dentist. The doctors do not communicate to you what needs to be done or what they are doing, instead they hand you an outrageously priced list of things THEY WANT TO DO regardless if that is what you are there for. When I voiced my concerns on the lack of communication, the office staff played the patient blame game and tried throwing it onto me. The office manager even stood up in front of me, staring down at me, while I was seated, talking down to me.
I will NEVER go back into that office.
