My experience at Aspen Dental was nothing short of great. Stephanie took my X-rays and was very personable! Dr. Lauderdale took her time with me and explained my treatment thoroughly. Vicky the hygienist was also very knowledgeable and had excellent bedside manner. Everyone in the office was very professional. I look forward to my future visits with Aspen Dental.

I am always happy with the front office staff; they are very friendly and welcoming. I am very pleased with my current hygienist. My only negative would be that I felt I was being rushed during this last visit. I still received a thorough cleaning and exam.

Filling and cleaning were fine. However, I requested my first appointment for an exam and cleaning. I was seen 40 minutes after my appointment time and then told there wasn't time to do a cleaning. Got feedback on my exam, set up an appointment, agreed to the treatment plan, paid $200. Second appointment I was pulled back and told that a hygienist they don't usually use had done my exam and had "missed some things." My new treatment plan was about $500, not covered by my insurance. I balked and declined that service. The business manager said they would discount that service because I needed it, and it would take several visits. Had the initial work done. I was called 20 minutes before my next appointment and told they needed to cancel (but not why). Lost a day's sick leave and decided this was not the kind of business practice I was going to support, did not reschedule or finish the treatment. I then received a bill for about $110 more than expected, and I hadn't even completed the treatment. I stopped by the office to speak to the business manager but after waiting about 15 minutes I had to leave to get my kids from school. I tried to call. There's an option to speak with someone about your bill. 10 minutes on hold (including hearing the phone being picked up and immediately place on hold again). When it finally rang back to an extension the message was that nobody could take the call. No option to leave a message, only one to exit the system. You can be the best dentist on the planet, but if you treat your patients like a revenue stream and not valued customers you'll lose their business. As a military spouse I wanted to support this company because they provide care to indigent veterans. But I don't want to be taken advantage of either. I finally accessed the corporate website, paid the $91 that I feel I do owe and will chalk it up as a lesson learned.

Was told by another dentist that I had to be on their roster for a month. So I called Aspen and they got me in within a week. So I went to Aspen and they were wonderful and very professional. They seen me and that same day they pulled my teeth. I am pain free.

This was a total waste of my time. My appointment was at 2:15. I wasn't seen until 3:40. They also helped confirm nothing in life is free. They advertise free cleaning and X-ray for new patients, but forget to mention they will add something into the visit that will require you to pay. This visit was a great big waste of time. I was warned to stay away....but I am a hardhead. Run, run as fast as you can, unless you have time to waste and like being lied to!

I was so nervous about going to the dentist due to a bad experience in the past. I had a wonderful experience at aspen dental. They were so patient with me and explained everything in great detail. My teeth are so pretty today, I can't stop smiling. They have excellent bedside manor. Everyone in the office from the front desk to the back!!! Gotta love them!!! They care about there jobs and it shows!!

The atmosphere was bright, clean, modern and cheery. Everyone was welcoming and professional. My questions were answered quickly and thoroughly. The only reason i did not rate the highest was that I felt pressured to purchase items and services I did not want or need. Which made me feel uncomfortable.

Do not go to this office. This office mistreats you unfairly when it comes to bills. I went to this Aspen Dental early last year (2017). At the time, I didn't receive any bills from Aspen. I figured it's because just like all the other times I've been there, my insurance paid for it. Fast forward to July 2018 (and I've been living in Atlanta since May of 2017), I get a call from the NRA telling me I have a debt. They tell me I owe money to Aspen Dental. It wasn't "much", but I was shocked at the call I got from the NRA when they are calling on behalf of a Debt collector.
I was mortified and shocked. I called Aspen Dental in Columbus this week as soon as I heard from the NRA. A lady picked up and kept calling me "honey" and often called me by the wrong last name. I asked her to explain to me WHAT the fee from over a year ago was for. She said it was for a check up, etc. Then, I asked her WHY I hadn't received this notice earlier? She told me they've been sending that bill to my place in Columbus, GA. I reminded her my appointment with them was in early 2017- So why didn't they send me this bill when I was still in Columbus until May 2017? She said she has no idea. That's fine. But I also told her that before I LEFT Columbus, I CALLED the office to let them know I was MOVING to Atlanta in summer of 2017, and I gave them my new address to send me anything they needed to send me. They had not sent me anything to my new address. She told me they have sent documents to my OLD columbus address instead. But Why? What was the point of me even calling before I left Columbus to let you know WHERE to send my documents to? What DID you do with my new address I gave you? Also, why NOW? My number is the same. They never even ONCE called my number to see if I can pay them what I owed them from last year. They said they've been sending my bill to the old address (even after I called them last year BEFORE I moved to let them know I was moving to Atlanta). If you have time to send me bills, and if I wasn't responding, WHY DIDN'T YOU CALL THEN? And WHY did this take over a year? I paid off everything to the NRA but I told the lady who kept calling me "honey" that I don't like surprises, especially when it comes to bills. I also pay ALL my medical bills that I owe to my doctors as soon as possible, but I DO NOT appreciate a call from NRA after Aspen dental NOT calling or reaching out to my current address to even ATTEMPT to collect the fee from me themselves. After over a year, getting a call from the NRA is not pleasant. Aspen Dental in Columbus is very rude. Do not go here. Save yourself some financial headache and trouble by avoiding this office at all costs.

Watch out for bait and switch! They tell you one thing and get you to pay, and then they changed it, so they could charge you more. They don't offer a break down of what you are paying for, and you have to pay a good hunk just to get the appointment. They will tell you, you are paying for the best, and then they change it to the cheapest...and if you want the best you have to pay more. Pretty much a scam. They are horrible about not answering their phone. You are suppose to wait outside and call them and let them know you are there, and they will call you in. (Covid 19 )That only works if they answer the phone, which they won't. So you have to go in and tell them...defeated the whole system. Then they get upset because you came in without being asked....when I told them, well you won't answer the phone! A hot mess...
