The staff here is very nice! They made me feel comfortable the whole time I was here. It has been several years since I have been to a dentist and I was nervous before entering, but once I got in there and they started taking care of me I was relieved.

My visit from calling to get in to walking out the door was filled with a staff of caring and professional people. The news I got was scary but they talked me through it and did make me understand that something could be done to handle my dental issues. Thank you Aspen Dental in Columbus GA

The first appointment, not so bad, I got done what needed to be done. HOWEVER, I had given them my insurance card (they made a copy of it) and also gave them sensitive information (subscribers name, birthday, SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER) to put into my file so that it showed I was covered and it somehow ended up lost. I saw 2 different ladies write down that sensitive information on a plain piece of paper, put it to the side, and continue talking to me about charges. When I called to schedule my next appointment, they said it showed I had no insurance, so they didnt even put that information into my file. How does a paper with information like that end up lost? You cant just let information like that sit around and end up lost, it could end up in the wrong hands. Also, anytime I call about this problem, I get put on hold for 20 minutes. Then, when they finally do pick up the phone, I get told that they'll do some looking around for my insurance information and "call me back". I never get called back. So all in all, this place is completely unprofessional in my opinion. It's frustrating the process I have went through to try getting a second appointment, and I still have yet to get that second appointment that I need. So, Im switching to a new place and I suggest others just save their time and try anywhere else but here.

My mom apparently had 4 abscessed teeth and she desperately needed them pulled. They took advantage and tried to charge her for cleaning too which was almost $2,000 out of pocket still for everything they even had already started a loan which she said she did not want, she only wanted to have her teeth pulled. After coming to me and showing me everything we could definitely not afford so she tried to cancel her appointment to get her teeth pulled. They constantly kept calling and calling and texting after that she had an appointment and will be charged if she misses it. We told them everytime they called she cancelled her appointment and they would just not stop! But then my moms tooth had gotten so bad she decided to go just to go get her teeth pulled and before she can pay them back for the office visit, x-ray, teeth pulled they constantly kept calling me?! Which she only had me call them one time because she has a hearing problem and needed me to speak with them but she never authorized them to use my number. They call me from 2 different numbers and one is always unknown.. they are still continuing to call me because she did not have her cleaning done and they had already gotten a loan. Beware of this place! I'm not even the one to leave bad reviews ever but this place is the absolute worst.

The only good thing about Aspen is that if you have no insurance, the first visit is free. If you need anything more than a cleaning, I suggest finding another dentist. I was given better treatment for an exposed nerve at an urgent care center on a national holiday and the wait time wasn't half as long.

The staff was very helpful and respectful to me. They explained everything they was going to do and what needed to be done for my oral health. I will be telling all my family and friends about Aspen Dental

Everything went great , first time going here. My only suggestion is to be more on top of how they bill you and actually explain everything that's going on the bill. I was about to walk out not knowing I had paid for something extra and the lady was nice enough to let me know I had already paid for it so might as well. Besides that they have a good dental team!

From now on I will deliberately choose a dental plan that gives me the option to go to ANYPLACE OTHER THAN ASPEN DENTAL!!
Going to Aspen Dental left my husband and I feeling like we were being worked over by a slimy dishonest used car salesman. We drove 90 miles to be seen because it would be at least 6 weeks to be seen in our own city. After arriving we were then told that each location has specific allotments of how many people who have dental plans who can be seen each year. That meant we then had to go out of the state to be seen! RIDICULOUS!! We we shuffled from one room to another and another and another and another couple of times. Who the hell needs 5 different types of "pictures" taken of their teeth? Hell, the dentist really didn't spend any time looking at my teeth and they refused to even give us our teeth cleanings. They come up with what feels like being held up by gunpoint for thousands of dollars before they even will even clean anyone's teeth. Everyone is encouraged to get invisaligns whether you really need them or not, which seems to give you the feeling that they have a deal with the invisalign company for enough money that they try to convince everyone to buy them. I am upset that this dental group will refuse to give you the cleaning provided by the dental plan. My husband had to take the day off for us to be seen due to lengthy travel and a bunch of BS shutting around to essentially equate to a whole lot of waiting, way to much and several painful pictures, a 2 minute visit from a dentist, and a long list of BS expenses that they want us to pay before they will give you an appointment to maybe clean your teeth.
I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THAT PLACE!
I will definitely make sure that any dental plan that we choose in the future will have another choice other than Aspen Dental.
BEWARE OF ASPEN DENTAL.

The staff is great and Dr. Lauderdale is the best. The lab tech, Milton, is absolutely awesome! I have no complaints about the work that has been done or the way I have been treated. The only thing there that makes me uncomfortable is the way the front desk is set up. The person that discusses financing with you sits behind the receptionist. From the waiting room, you can hear personal information being discussed. I've heard names, social security numbers, financial situations, credit amounts. I have had dentures for a little over a year. Milton did such a wonderful job making them that my coworkers and friends don't know unless I tell them. It's not something I would tell a stranger but if I take them in to be repaired, everyone in the waiting room can hear why I am there. What someone does or doesn't know about me should be my choice.
