I entered to a quiet and calm office. The television was a great distraction as I am afraid of the dentist. The staff was very attentive with no pressure. I also didn't have any of my information, with the sress building, she allowed me space. My nerves feeling calm I finished all paperwork. Great visit!

I went to Kaizen Dental for my dental needs. All of the staff were very kind,very informative and seemed to have your best interest at ❤️! But I really wished that they would have been able to offer something for the people that served their country. People don't realize the whole reality of "War" that puts civilians to do whatever they want because of us doing our duty weather we live or get hurt. Dr. Tokunaga was sincere and I want to thank him for his services rendered to those who can persevere from his work. Thanks to all the people that work at Kaizen Dental, you give people like me a valid chance for "Humanity" and the will to live. You don't have to live in shame as long as this business is still working!

Let's start with the doc - Dr. Muraoka is knowledgable, accommodating, understanding and real. Modern technology, detailed exams. He actually listens and is able to navigate tough situations with you with grace and compassion. You're literally in great hands.

Over the years I've been coming here, every single hygentist I've worked with is also top notch. The cleanings are super detailed and their top priority is making sure you're comfortable, which I think we can all appreciate since going to a dentist tends to cause some major anxieties. You're always given a super take home bag and given great tips to enhance your usual oral hygiene routine.

The office is ALWAYS clean, the staff is genuinely friendly and it doesn't take forever to get an appointment - especially in a critical situation.

The cherry on top is the pricing! If you don't have insurance, they have an adjusted scale of costs, which they always review with you before they perform any procedures and which I've always found incredibly reasonable for the high level of work.

No need to dread going to the dentist anymore!

They listened to me, answered my questions and let me know how important I am.

The staff from the front desk to the doctors were friendly, respectful, knowledgeable, and very accommodating. Although it’s in downtown Honolulu and parking is a little challenging I wouldn’t change dentist for a second. Kudos to Dr. Kim! He’s awesome and his staff! Got me in same day and worked on my filling right away! I’d highly recommend this place. Been to a lot of places and I have no complaints!

From the moment I walked into the New Office, the receptionist greeted me by name and a smile. She got me familiar with where the restrooms were and asked about my parking situation.

My hygienist Kira is the Best. She's kind, thoughtful and very gentle. She's been my only hygienist for years. I've been coming to this dentist office since the original DDS in 1968. Over that many years, it has changed staff and DDS, but one thing remains consistent, the personnels kindness, their thoughtfulness and their quality of care for their clients.

On the way out, I inquired about a night guard and the account specialist was kind and efficient in quoting me a price. She even explained how they would help me care for it. What else is their for me to say? Except...

Kaizen Dental Center is THE BEST !!!

We recently moved to the island and were looking for a new family dentist for myself, husband and five y.o. daughter. Kaizen came highly recommended, and we were SO pleasantly surprised! the staff is amazingly welcoming and helpful, the prices are super reasonable (they even have the option of a dental plan directly with them if you have no dental insurance, making the prices for treatments even better!), the dentist is so friendly and very honest about options, and our daughter had so much fun she wanted to stay for a playdate with the staff :) the office is well stocked with equipment to get xrays and more, and they do have an orthodontist that is available once a month, so it's pretty much a one-stop shop. don't go anywhere else, you won't regret it!

I was very impressed with the whole operation I will be glad to get back for move appointment to save my mouth an save my teeth.
