Kaizen Dental Center - Downtown Honolulu

It’s taken me a while to do a review, and I don’t know why! I love this place. Everyone there is so welcoming and kind. I was hesitant at first as we all are when it comes to new locations and offices. But upon entry I was greeted with a friendly smile and got my routine check up. I wanted to remove my wisdom teeth so I made a follow up. I heard too many horror stories but I trusted Dr. Muraoka upon referrals. He was so thorough in explaining what he would be doing during the process and was quick. All their hygienist and front desk are so sweet also. Love it here!

I have felt an act of professional work and polite personality from both the hygienist and Dr Muraoka. He was very upfront with my concerns and he seemed optimistic of what my Team would consent to having the Dr’s okay for the implants procedure.

This was my first time visiting Kaizen Dental. I had a very good experience there, Great customer service and treated me very respectfully. The consult was very easy and fast. Got to speak to the doctor about my dental needs and had a pricing consult at the end at the check out counter. Mahalo to the nurse that made me feel at ease and to the Doctor that can make my smile again.

Extremely friendly staff. I felt very comfortable on my first visit and I definitely don't regret deciding to go there for my dental needs.

The best dental place on the island. Malia is so sweet & accomodating. They treat clients so well. I'm so happy I went here & will be going back again. Dr. Nip is so caring as well. They're the best. 🙂

Friendly, welcoming, efficient and industry experts. I had a chipped front tooth and needed a long overdue cleaning. They were able to schedule me in quickly with no wait time. Thanks Kaizen! Looking forward to getting my veneers done with you folks too.

I found Kaizen Dental through a Groupon Promo and I've been wanting to find a dental clinic I could trust. What caught my attention is their promise to make your dental experience a positive one, they want to challenge the negative stigma that generally coincides with dentistry.

Prior to going to their office I was told by another Dentist that my tooth was beyond saving, it needed a root canal and a bridge which is very costly. They made me feel like I had done something wrong for having my tooth in this condition (and although this is 100% true, it was my fault, that very demeaning treatment from the dentist is partly why I felt too scared to go in sooner.)

I decided to get a second opinion which is where Kaizen came in to the picture, The dentist explained everything very clearly and did a great Job at easing my concerns. I felt so comfortable that it changed my outlook on taking care of my teeth.

Now I go to their office twice a year for cleanings and exam and will be scheduling my root canal with them.

Their staff as a whole offer great customer service and I appreciate the text reminders for my appointments.

And aside from their friendly way of handling matters they are very professional in regards to handling billing.

They provide written estimates that are very clear to understand so you know what to expect.

Finally, as a self employed individual I don't have the luxury of affording a dental plan. Kaizen has a great inhouse dental plan that works well with our budget, I've called around to multiple offices to check their in house plans and Kaizen offers the best as far as my research goes.

I am so impressed with the Kaizen Dental Ctr dentist and staff. I had a dental emergency and was a new patient . They took me in and took care of my issue on the same day that I met them. They made a stressful situation way less stressful in my time of need. Mahalo for their professionalism and caring attitude!

Staff are very friendly,when ever a assistant does there job, they are considerate and patient.they always ask you if your ok?
they just want you to fell comfortable.

I'm happy with my visit to Kaizen Dental Center. After some researching for a potential new dentist near me on the West side , I decided to go back to Kaizen, remembering I had a very pleasant visit pre- pandemic. I was in need of a good cleaning. So happy with my cleaning experience with Malia. Very professional, knowledgeable. And upon my early arrival, Malia took me in earlier before my appointment time. Which I appreciate, not anticipating the traffic back to leeward. All worth the drive into town. I will be making plans for more dental work. I did have a consultation. Though my meeting with the Dr. was quick. I liked his enthusiasm. I will be scheduling soon for a filling and another consultation with just a few more questions on procedures. Everyone was very friendly and upbeat. And even the billing personale experience was quick and easy. He was thorough and knowledgeable also. And the friendliest front office greeting . Thank you
