Everyone at UIC College of Dentistry is wonderful! They are professional, knowledgeable, compassionate, and thorough. Pricing is fair and costs are thoroughly explained. I would highly recommend UIC College of Dentistry to all.

I came into the urgent care today for a visit with my Wisdom tooth poking threw and got it pulled the same day! My dentist was nice to me and so were the post grad students who pulled my tooth out. All together I was there maybe 2 hours tops and all this was done thanks to these talented students. I was comfortable, and had less pain walking out. Thank you UIC ! Great place to have dental work done for low cost but high quality.

My treatment is already 4 and a half months late because these guys are taking their sweet time. They have zero communication skills when it comes down to interacting with the patient and keeping them informed on their procedure. Last time I had any communication with the staff was about 2 months ago. I was supposed to be in post op and recovering already; however, the AMAZING doctors at UIC are treating my life like a game and my treatment has been prolonged by weeks and they still cannot give me a specific date for when my surgery is supposed to occur. I think about committing suicide on a daily basis, but I guess that would just make them happier since they wouldn't have to deal with me and my problematic surgery. Absolute medical care disgrace.

I am impressed with how well the staff know their area of expertise. It makes me feel good that I will be in better shape soon.

Dr. Alder is always very helpful and professional. She made me very comfortable during all my Dental work with her. She was always punctual and informative as to what work I needed done and why it was needed. I felt very safe with her as my dentist. Jamie Weed Beck

UIC dental school is the WORST!! I had full trust in them to do my dentures, which I was terrified about, and they really messed them up. Not even fitting my mouth, HUGE gap in the middle. I looked like a chipmunk and couldn't eat, so I had to work on the gum area a little myself because they abandoned me for more than 3 months after the quarantine. Neither them nor the insurance is admitting that UIC had any fault, and they want to make me pay to get them redone. The person on the phone and other staff are rude. If you don't like your job, find another one. If you can afford to go elsewhere, please do....certainly not here!

My dentist and myself have sent numerous emails and attempted to make phone call after phone call to set up an appointment. I had a dental emergency where my wisdom tooth cracked open and became infected. The lack of urgency from this facility is insane! Now, 4 months later, the pain and inability to eat without feeling a stabbing sensation in my mouth is horrible. I am a full grown man and I cry from the pain. A few days back I finally got through and managed to make an appointment. However, as I sit here today I now see why the are in such turmoil. Poor organization and time management. Workers run around ignorantly looking for their patient. The front desk receptionist is more interested in her phone and is offended when a patient asks for help or clarification. In addition, she puts her office voicemail on speaker, so others in the waiting room are able hear sensitive patient information.... HIPPA PRIVACY VIOLATION!! In brief, I can only make one recommendation... CLOSE!!!!

If UIC's College of Dentistry is a reflection of the rest of the University's professionalism.... I am glad I decided to attend Loyola University. This establishment is a joke!

I had a very positive experience. I had a dental bridge replaced by Dr. Zurich and he was awesome. He explained everything thoroughly and answered all my questions. His bedside manner is phenomenal, very genuine. I also required a root canal to be redone as well. Dr. Zurich did not proceed with the implant until he was absolutely sure I wasn't having any pain. The staff is friendly and professional. I was impressed and would definitely recommend the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Dentistry.

The guy took 3 1/2 hours to do my root canal, come to find out they took off so much structure on my tooth I can’t even get a crown now. Save yourself some time and pay the extra money, go elsewhere.

I went for a tooth that needed to be abstracted! I was there all day since 8:45 a.m. long story short they gave me and appointment to see oral surgeon at 2:00 p.m after being there all day and afternoon around 4:00 they didn’t absolutely take care of me ! They left me with pain I’ve been experiencing for 4 days because the lady wanted to talk to my doctor because of some medicine I was taking ! The doctor ok the procedure but they wanted to have me take a paper to have my doctor fill out and come back ! I was very disappointed and very upset to waist all day & Money two times for parking lot & on top of it left with pain !!! Very unprofessional & very inconsiderate with patients pain! I was very upset mind you I was there 3 months ago with the same medication and it was no problem now all of the sudden it was ! The doctor was a older woman with long gray hair and very rude !!!!!!They ask 1,00 questions when they have notes in front of there face ! When people are in pain & haven’t slept well in 4 days shouldn’t be asking stupid questions! The notes are in there face they need to stop being lazy! It took 3 days to get an appointment very disappointed
