I'm not sure how many people call this place at a time, but I've been on hold for 1 hour and 16 minutes as of this review, just to speak to a representative about scheduling an appointment. Also, literally no one wants to hear this same Jazz Ensemble over and over.

Highly recommended! UIC Dental School is a great option for me, being retired. They do not accept all patients, only those whose particular dental health situation suits the college's needs for training students. I happened to be accepted because of periodontal issues that I have. Appointments are long, but they are VERY well and expertly supervised by top notch supervisors / professors. It has been very good for my budget, as it is astronomically cheaper than standard dentists. Appointments take two to three times as long as might a standard dental appointment, but for that sacrifice your wallet will smile. Also, be aware that too many late arrivals or missed appointments will get you "dropped" as a patient.

Oh if only I could give this place 0 stars. You can go here if you don’t mind waiting 2 years to make an appointment. Still waiting to make an appointment for 11 months now. I’ve called, emailed, left messages and no one has answered as of yet. It shouldn’t be this difficult to get a hold of someone to make a simple consultation appointment. I don’t have time to be waiting around this much so I’ll be going elsewhere.

My dentist office sent over a referral for mybsin to have his wisdom teeth abstracted months ago. I did receive a confirmation that the referral was received and I should wait on a call for an appointment. I have called and left several messages and I still haven't received a call. I even called back today and it say the voicemail can not except anymore messages.

I’ve been trying to make a appointment for a root canal for a month and I still have not spoken to anyone! Been calling the phone line but no one picks up!

I called today to schedule an appt. For my children, the receptionist answer me with an attitude and top of that she was rude explaining to me that they no longer accept referral forms, that it has to be through email,.. how was I supposed to know that! Not my fault I was told to call! Schedule! And take referral forms!...well glad my children are not going to be seen here period.

I had a great experience. I was nervous because of all the bad reviews but everything turned out great. I got in right away for urgent dental care & got my tooth extracted same day! They said it normally doesn’t happen that way but somehow they were able to squeeze me in.

Never answer the phone so I had to go in person to make an appointment I had a referral and they said my son medical card didn’t cover the consultation or X-rays called insurance they said it covers everything I don’t understand why the insurance says cover everything for my son and they say it don’t and they accept the medical card my son have makes no sense. >:(

Been a good hour and a half n no one answers the phone.... why? Like legit why? I get some people play around on the phone but every time I go there in person not one person raking calls. They just gather around talk about lunch and such. Straight trash if you ask me..... all im trying to do is reschedule cause my kid is sick..... im blown at this result.
