I waited to get a call back because I was supposedly referred to the student dental clinic for my dental care but I never received a phone call I've tried numerous times set up an appointment but nothing happened so I gave up.

They don't accept CareCredit and dealing with this place is a hassle. No thanks.

Very poor customer service. They knew my insurance before the appointment and still allowed a doctor that wasnt licensed in illinois to sign my perscription. Therefore i went to 2 pharmacies that are located far south. As well as having to drive all the way back downtown to come to this place to get 3 new prescriptions. They are still trying to make me go up the pharmacy which IS NOT ACCEPTING THE PRESCRIPTION. This is my second time up here today . My initial visit was 10:30 - 1:30 its almost 4:00pm i still havent recieved any new prescriptions sheets this is so unprofessional. And the employees at the intake desk.

Update: its 4:00pm and im still here. Spoke with a supervisor its seems that she doesnt have much knowledge as to why im not taking the prescription with the same doctors name even as i continously explain to her that it will not be accepted because the doctor is not liscensed in illinois

Some of these reviews are funny, you lazy people are just peachy, learn to read and listen phones open from 8am-10am! early birds get the worm, cant expect to hang out all night, sleep all mourning, then wake up and expect the world to cater to you.

Now on to the review.....
So far has been great since being reopened, service fast, never have problem making appointments, parking is near and affordable, dentists stay in contact with you and provide you with a personal number to reach them, and if you dont have insurance costs are cut in half, I'm almost done with my dental work and big thanks to these students for helping out, look forward to the future work to finish.

Bad experience. Phone line always busy and voicemail is always full. My permanent crown has to wait for two months and has not been completed. Students never respond to my calls and treatments keep getting pushed back.

To begin I’ve been in the dental field more than 10 17 years. The staff was friendly the reason I only give 3 stars actually only 2 1/2 if I could is first the phone service is horrible. Second I scheduled my daughter because her wisdom teeth are impacted. Instead they did a screening about to see if she “qualifies” for them too pull them here. I scheduled her here because they do GA. I’m not sure what she has to qualify got. Second I also brought my husband because he needs extraction and a partial again only a screening was done. they both have tooth aches but have to wait at least 6 weeks just for a comprehensive exams and then maybe get an answer. I’m not sure we want to wait. Also the fact that they want both an fmx and pan is nonsense. No insurance what so ever covers both on the same day because it’s categorized as the same thing. But the dental school requires it before they can make a decision whether they even will take them as patients. I though we option of just seeing a regular dentist. I think the receptionist have to be trained way better on categorizing what kind of appointment to make.

Edit: 6/28/2021 I thank you for you services and reaching out to me and getting help for my daughter.. I was very nervous but your care team took excellent care in my daughter and her procedure. I appreciate the help in getting everything done. Her recent check up went perfect and her teeth are still just as beautiful. And her smile too.

Honestly just terrible. The office doesn't prepare you properly for your first visit (or, at the very least, didnt tell me I needed anything other than showing up 15 minutes early, completely ignoring the fact that i needed x-rays and my retainers and night guards) and they seemingly NEVER(?) call back.

It seems there's only one person running the phones but with no expectations set, there's no excuse. I consistently wait over a week for a return call and usually have to leave multiple messages before that happens.

Additionally, one of the doctors is condescending and rude. I wouldn't go back if the only other TMD treatment facility wasn't in St Charles. But I've started seeing a physical therapist hoping to just cut these guys out.

Can’t get anyone to answer the phone :( I live in Peoria Illinois and no oral surgeon takes my insurance here. My dentist has referred me here 4 times but I can’t get a hold of anyone due to the voice mail being full. I’ve sent emails have called for the past 8 months still nothing.

This rating is only for their new patient customer service. I have called about eight times at varied hours in past few business days for urgent care and always get automated messages. Can’t leave a voice mail, no one calls back, and there’s no way to email the department I actually need to see. Definitely needs to be fixed for urgent care at least.

I been looking everywhere for 5+ years for a dentist/oral surgeon to even help me due to i'm on medicaid and I needed to be put fully under for any kind of dental care it got to the point I needed a full mouth extractions, April 2022 me and my ride started to call it took a bit to actually get threw to set up an appointment on April 17th 2022 I got the appointment to see a dental urgent care dr ,they referred me to an oral surgeon threw UIC and on April 27th 2022 I seen the oral surgeon he said I needed full mouth extractions while fully under in a hospital OR in Chicago ,in july 2022 got a call for a surgery date which was July 12th 2022 at the UIC hospital on that day me and my ride traveled 3hours to get there, they performed my full extractions, even though i'm still in the healing phase I do feel a whole lot better and i'm fully grateful of UIC of taking care of me and not turning me away like the other denists has in the past, Thank you UIC for helping me please stay awesome, all the medical staff nurses (one i will never forget) all the drs that took care of me was awesome and very caring
