The absolute worst, I recommended this place for my mother (as I had used them in the past for basic needs) who has had dental issues & pain as a result from radiation from the past with her teeth grinded down & partial teeth gone which would've been a bit much for a student so they recommended her to a place within the college that would not be discounted & they had a full out plan & had started....well OVER a year & a half ago. I get this is a pandemic, i get there are plenty of others that probably have far more issues at hand. But in that time they switched the Doctors that were seeing her in between & resulted in them not knowing her history & prolonging treatment. The lack of communication overall & trying numerous times to arrange appointments & get the ball rolling to no avail, communication is so bad I had to EMAIL Dr Naomi directly to her email outside of the UIC in order for her to contact my mother, it's unbelievable. Maybe look at getting a better phone system between patients & doctors as sending them to the default number to the UIC for scheduling an appointment is not the solution. So a temporary partial that didn't fit and caused more pain & that's supposed to give confidence that the dentures they wish to make my mother will be any better. They partially drilled into her tooth & never fully did the root canal which to this day left a hole in her mouth while my mother is waiting. I swear man if the UIC was the worst of the worst in hospital Emergency rooms, my mother would be passed on by now with how long it's taking them to get anything done. Do yourself a favor, even if it's more expensive find a specialist where at least they have a reputation to uphold while taking your money and won't rely on that it's a college excuse for their lack of getting things done.

My dentist submitted my referral about 4 to 5 months ago. I’ve been having really bad pains due to two impacted wisdom teeth that can only be removed here. I’ve been calling every other day since my referral was submitted, and was never able to speak to a real person. The mailbox is always full so I am not able to leave a voicemail. I am in a lot of pain and have been for a while now and this place is no help.

Since they work with Medicaid & Medicare receivers, they have no absolutely no since of urgency. They never ever answer the phone! For the last three months 90% of my calls I’ve either gotten no answer to or the runaround & I have an unfinished procedure (that was started by one of their student dentists few months back) & it’s giving me pain.

Worst place EVER!!!!!! They never answer the phone one of the Receptionist told me they have multiple calls that been on hold for hours!!! HOURSSS.... And she didn't even Cared, And the worst part is they had me and my daughter waiting while they talk about their lunch plans smh!!!!! My daughter was an emergency case and still they wouldn't see her, i live 1:30min away and they keep changing appointments like if i lived in the City!!!! This is very frustrating, disappointing and not fair for all the patients, specially kids. Hope they can improve.....

this place does NOT take walk-in's. Don't waste your time or gas driving up there hoping to be seen.

Why it’s so hard to get an appointment? They only allow call in to make an appointment but never ever got a real person to answer ur call. The most ridiculous is their voice mail box is always full. How come this is your policy to not allow walk in and don’t even allow u left an voice mail? I try to schedule wisdom teeth remover for a year. Only Uic can do it and accept my insurance. I suffer pain for many times but no way to get cured.

I have been calling to make an appointment more than a month, they never answered. 24/7 busy even to take phone call. And they don’t take walk-in. I don’t live near so it’s really frustrating. Would never recommend this place

horrible front desk service and i always get the same girl that answers the phone .. she has a bad attitude towards patients … i was told the supervisor was in a meeting when i asked for them.. my son had two appointments that i couldn’t make and i canceled them through the automated system due to a illness i had and was unable to bring him .. this lady went back and forth with me about not calling to cancel.. i sat on hold for 40 minutes just to cancel and couldn’t get through ! so i canceled through the automated system when they confirmed my appointment.. my son has a toothache now and can’t sleep because of it and the girl told me that i can’t make an appointment! someone needs to contact me immediately! i am not happy with how they treat patients
