Exceptional Dental of Mid-City

There are a lot of reasons I am exceptionally pleased with this office, most of which revolves around my anxiety about (well, a lot of things, but particularly) the dentist. Every single staff member I've met through this office has been so welcoming and accommodating!

1. Emergency Appointments: I had a wisdom tooth coming in giving me extreme pain and they were able to get me in right away even without being an established patient. Thank you!!

2. Receptionists: Shout out Megan! Always so welcoming and there to explain any questions I have, especially around insurance.

3. Dental Assistants, if that's not the right term, Dental Rockstars would be a better fit! Again, so welcoming and friendly - answering questions when needed and making sure I am seen as fast as possible even when things are busy.

4. Comfort: Bonus points for the warm neck pillow and blanket! Aside from just being comfortable this is a HUGE help with my anxiety.

5. Dr. Adragna! He's the best, very personable and answers all my questions (as you may imagine, I usually have a lot)! Also, I will always remember the first time I saw him (to pull out the wisdom tooth): I told him that I've had some BAD experiences and, though I was prepared to trust him, I was very nervous. During the pulling I was focused on my breathing and he commented affirming that I was doing great and that slow breaths were good. This meant the entire world to me!

As mentioned, my dental experience has not always been good, so renewing my relationship with the dentist has been a struggle. I'm so glad to have landed with Exceptional Dental!

My appointment with Dr. Alice went like precision clockwork as always. My procedure was a new crown and Dr. Alice has done a couple before that were perfect and this one was no exception. After getting the new crown, no pain and I was chewing on it as normal. She is truly a gifted and it is always a pleasure to see her! She has a new assistant Amber and she has such attention to detail that she remembered from a previous visit that I prefer that the TV not be turned on. Again, great memory and so personable. I normally do not post comments, but felt compelled to recommend Dr. Alice and Exceptional Dental of Mid City.

I have to comment on another tremendous visit to see Dr. Alice. I am so grateful for the three crowns she flawlessly made for me. There was absolutely no issues and they are wonderful. TroyLynn did a great job assisting and I appreciate her putting on good temporaries. In addition I would like to recognize Jenny for taking such good care of me for my hygiene. Before seeing her and being treated, I was on the border of periodontal work, but thanks to her skill and thoroughness I am in good shape now. Amazing!

Went in for my usual cleaning. I insist that Jen be the one. I have been fortunate to have some good hygienists but Jen is on the top of my list. Not only are her dental skills excellent she is very warm and caring. I am on a 3 month regimen so I truly look forward to visiting Jen and doctor Alice... Who had fitted me for a mouth guard the previous visit and this is evidence of her looking out for me and the well being of my teeth for the long run. Her experience and forward thinking diagnosed a problem that I've been having for a long time. So fortunate to have doctor Alice as my dentist and by the way I think she is happy with me because she says I am one of her most compliant patients.....
Today I went in for a simple cleaning and as always Jen did a superbly.
Most people don't look forward to a cleaning but Jen makes it a great experience. Also I would like to express my meeting a new team member Jamaica. So very personable and we spoke about how Dr Alice has been providing her with such wonderful guidance..... I could tell she was genuinely grateful for having such a mentor.
One additional comment the aquarium scenes in the operatories are a game changer... Set up my personal office monitors to display these aquarium scenes.

Great service and care! I missed my appointment because I arrived 30 minutes late, but I was able to schedule another appointment later that day. They send several text reminders about your upcoming appointment and will even call you if you’re running late. Everyone who works there is so kind and helpful. They explain every procedure and teach you how to take the best care of your teeth. The rooms are comfortable and have two TVs one being on the ceiling so you can watch even when you’re getting your teeth cleaned. Before I knew it everything was done, and my next appointment was already scheduled. If you don’t like dentist visits, try this place and you might even enjoy yourself!

Scammers. They talk in industry jargon to get you to accept treatment for expensive services without full understanding. I'm coming for them where they will last expect it. Shame on you for taking advantage.

It’s been a long road to get here for me but today was a record. It was the best. I have fears of going to the Dentist like so many others BUT Jennifer (Jen) has been so instrumental in getting me to this place of comfort. She has been wonderful coaching me through all of it. Now cleanings are a breeze. I’m still in disbelief. Thanks Jen and the entire team at Exceptional Dental (mid city)

Everyone there is friendly and caring. The best dentist experience every time.

One of the best services I had in a very long time, from the front dest clerk the hygienist the Dr. All have such a pleasant attitude. Gracias to all.

Always the friendliest staff and Jenn, the dental hygienist, has the best bedside manner and always makes me feel comfortable and well taken care of. I highly recommend this dentist office!
