I always had a positive experience with Exceptional Dental. Been a patient for over 5+yrs.

Jamie B., Stephanie and Dr. Tinney are all amazing at what they do. Each one took great care of me. I have severe anxiety when it comes to dental procedures. Jamie was able to get me an appointment when I found myself suddenly in pain. She was fast, efficient, friendly and caring. Stephanie instantly recognized my pain, fear and anxiety. She treated me with respect and was not dismissive of my stress. She listened while I rambled and calmed me when began to panic a little bit. Dr. Tinney is extremely gentle and patient. He didn’t ignore my anxiety and listened to everything I said and carefully explained what needed to be done. Everyone I interacted with during my visit was wonderful. I highly recommend Exceptional Dental Mid City!! Thank you all for taking care of me!

I never write reviews, but this deserved my time. I had a scheduled appointment for over a month as a new client for a cleaning. The dentist assigned to me upon arrival wasn’t the Dentist I had been scheduled with. After finishing my x-rays and a brief oral exam, I was told to remain in the lobby because there was an issue getting a hygienist for me. I waited for over an hour to then be taken to the back and be seated for a cleaning. I asked the employee how long will I be sitting here for because everyone seems to be dragging me around and trying to elude what’s actually happening. She said I understand and would feel the same way as you, the truth is the hygienist doing you is about to start on another client and it will be 40+ minutes before she’ll get to you. The employee was unaware why the issue was occurring and I was in their system scheduled, but she asked if I wanted to reschedule. I said I’ve waited over a month for this appointment, I’ve been here for hours, and this is unprofessional so I’ll be finding a different dentist.

Today was my first experience at Exceptional Dental. I must say this place is the most amazing dental office I’ve ever experienced, from the front staff receptionist greeting you. I was referred to Dr. Mickey Adragna and let me say this, he was the most amazing, sweetest, light up the room type of person. He was very knowledgeable about everything!!!! I love the fact that he gives options instead of saying this is what going on and that’s that! I wish I would’ve been known about this place. Also the Dental Assistant Keyshawn P. was extremely bubbly, amazing, and kind hearted but also VERY PROFESSIONAL. I’ve never been this comfortable with Dental office like I was today. If I was able to give 50 stars I would. I can’t wait to go back for my next visit. I wish more dentist office can be like this place

I was quoted one price and then they added a lab fee at the end. I have to go without my partial for seven days because they replaced the wrong tooth and it fell out in two days. They made me feel that I had done something wrong. All in all, I would continue to give them my business. (Be truthful to all your customers and double check your work)

Pros: Easy and convenient scheduling, very friendly staff, clean offices, Rachel the hygienist is truly a gem.

Cons: can be chaotic/busy, interaction with dentists is very rushed and impersonal, poor communication on treatment plans, improper dentist diagnosis.

I saw two dentists at two appointments in back to back weeks here for an issue I was having. While they both examined the area, neither one diagnosed the issue correctly. Rachel, my hygienist, made a treatment recommendation, yet Dr. Setti told her in front of me, ‘no that won’t help” and recommended I wait it out.

After the issue intensified, I got a second opinion from another dentist elsewhere, he agreed with Rachel’s recommendation. He took the time to explain the issue and his recommended treatment — for me it meant near immediate relief and finally a resolution after two weeks of pain.

Bottom line: good cleanings, but due to misdiagnosis, limited and impersonal interaction with dentists, and poorly communicated treatment plans, I cannot recommend this dental office. I will be going elsewhere now.

Always a great experience with my dental cleanings. The staff is so warm and friendly.

Very pleased with the dental services at this dental office and Dr. Adragna. Very nice modern office. Also Dr. Adragna is a very good dentist. I highly recommend him.

5 Stars for Jennifer. I don’t like what a Dentist does but I always like my Dentist/Hygienist. And I like Jennifer! Jennifer is the definition of exceptional. She was informative, caring, and had very good bed side manners. She doesn’t yank on ya mouth like some. She talked w me through the process of my deep cleaning and made sure that I felt no pain during this process. She comes highly recommended. Ask for Jennifer when you arrive to Exceptional Dental. And!!!! this facility is remarkably clean and very beautiful designed. And!!! they offer blankets and warm neck pillows. Love ❤️ it! Thanks Exceptional Dental and Thank You Jennifer!!!
