Great office. Reception and billing staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Dental Assistant are friendly and professional. In fact the Lead Dentist Naim Abualshar was awesome. I had a very difficult extraction and he handled perfectly with no pain. Just a great experience!

Bright Now Dental & Orthodontics. I can't say enough praise about them.In all my 66 years of dental experiences I have never had better treatment. They empathize with you, listen intently to your needs and desires and talk truthly about all aspects and suggestions for a healthy out come.

Bright Now Dental has been my dental provider for over 15 years. I wouldn’t choose to go anywhere else. The staff are always kind (staff in front and back of the office) and they employ the best Doctors, very skillful in their field with great bedside manner. I have not ever had a bad experience visiting Bright Now so I would encourage anyone of any age to give them a try.

I found the dentist, and the hygienist who perform my dental work and cleaning to be very professional, and excellent.

Most of the staff were also quite accommodating, and professional.

The reason for the three-star review, has to do with the apparent office manager.

On three occasions now; one during the mandatory masking of the pandemic, and two other times since then, there have been people in the lobby without masks. Even though it clearly states on the door, being a medical establishment that masks are required.

On the first occasion, the individual appeared to be sick, and coughed several times.

In all three cases, the front desk staff has said nothing. By the looks they gave the office manager, when I requested they do something about it, they apparently have been instructed not to say anything.

During my most recent visit, after a brief conversation with her, it appears she is not enforcing the rules, or asking the non-compliant patients to mask up for her personal political reasons.

It is very annoying, that there are certain uncaring individuals who for political reasons are willing to watch people suffer and die.

It is my opinion that the office manager should be replaced, but that is up to the owners and the doctor.

As the medical personnel here are excellent, and my insurance requires I use this location, I do not have much of a choice. So I have to put up with the manager who endangers everyone's lives for the sake of ensuring I continue to have adequate health/dental care.

In Spokane we have had well over a thousand people die of covid. All of the medical experts agree that number should have been less than 400, but is so high because of the anti-masker movement in Spokane.

It is unfortunate that some anti-maskers are in positions of power, and are still endangering lives for misguided political and uneducated personal convictions.

From check in to check out they take care of me as if I were their family. I have been going their for 3 years since I moved here and just love all of them. Dr Shar is so gentle and listens to me. If I ever have to pay after my insurance they always go over my cost before services and is always fair. Ty

During a root canal a little over a year ago, the dentist created a sinus communication (he drilled too deep and popped through into my sinus cavity). He then denied that it happened, and claimed that it's not possible to do that during a root canal. After 6 months of calling the office to report the issue, I was seen by another dentist visiting from their Spokane Valley location. He said that yes, I had a sinus communication and gave me an antibiotic to take care of the infection that had developed. However, the infection had already spread to the roots of the neighboring tooth, so it also needed a root canal. My appointment for this second root canal was scheduled for an early morning. I was called the morning of the appointment and told that they had over booked and asked if I could come in at noon instead. When I came in at noon, it took 3 HOURS to complete the root canal, because they had also over booked their afternoon, and they kept calling the dentist away to perform exams on other patients. The staff was in a hurry to go home, so no one checked the size and fit of the temporary crown they put in. They also forgot to take x-rays when they were finished, so I was called a week later to come back in for x-rays because my insurance would not pay for the procedure without them. My mouth was in severe pain from being wrenched open for 3 HOURS during the procedure, and my gums were bleeding from the sharp edges that went far into my gum line on the temporary crown that no one had bothered to fit properly. It has been about 6 months since this last root canal was done, and I still have pain and heat sensitivity in a tooth that should not feel anything. At my recent routine cleaning, I told the dentist I had pain and heat sensitivity, to which he responded, "No, you don't." I reiterated that I did have pain and there was clearly an issue if I have pain in a tooth that should feel nothing. Without any kind of examination, he told me there is no pain, and there is no problem, and he moved on to another patient.
The dentist is rude, dismissive, unaccountable, and unprofessional.

The staff are nice and they have fixed my teeth effectively but the orthodontist scheduling is complete garbage. I’ve been rescheduled four times now, this last time they failed to inform me until I called off work and came to the office. I just want my retainers!! I’m basically finished with Invisalign but they’re wasting my time!

Front office staff are super friendly and on it in terms of reception and intake of patients as well as after visit scheduling. The office provides multiple notices in advance of appointments that make it easy not to forget or reschedule if needed. The hygienist is efficient and does a great job with cleanings, fluoride, etc. Friendly but doesn't waste time trying to have a conversation with me with his hands in my mouth. Have not had major work done but Doc Abualshar asks the right questions, listens, and let's you know where things stand. They are busy so hard to get appointments but it's COVID.

DO NOT GO HERE!!! They will forget about you.

They will book you appointments and then on TWO SEPARATE OCCASIONS “forget” you in the waiting room. The first time I got skipped by two people who checked in for appointments after mine. And the second time I got skipped by THREE people who checked in after me. They blamed it on “running a little behind” but how are you behind if you keep taking back later appointments?
They need a better system for taking back patients IN ORDER. They will 100% make other appointments
a priority before your appointment.
