I'm extremely happy with my experience at Coast Dental. I required a deep cleaning & my hygienist (Paulette) kept me comfortably numb throughout the entire procedure.
I'm scheduled to return to have a broken molar extracted, which normally would terrify me; but I'm now confident it won't be nearly as painful as I'd feared.

Looooove everyone here! Literally everyone. Everyone is really friendly and welcoming. I've never been so excited to get dental work done. They were fairly busy when I went and Dr. Good still took her time to sit down with me and talk in depth about my issues. The hygienist is great as well! It may take awhile to get an appointment, but I think it's well worth the wait! And shout out to Christine!!

I have tried contacting your Tallahassee FL location on Blair Stone 5 times now within the past week and a half in regards of setting up an appointment. I have also left two voicemails, and spoke with someone at the corporate office whom said they have gotten several complaints about this. She informed me on Monday that she has sent emails to them, and would give me a call whenever they sent her one back. First off, why would you send emails to an office that is not responding? That wouldn't be my first resort when it comes to making contact. Second off, I still haven't heard back from whoever I spoke with. I'm guessing that means either she hasn't heard anything back, or she was too careless to contact me back. Thirdly, why should I have to bend and break my back STRUGGLING to schedule an appointment and give you all my money? It's a shame that you're the only dentist office in Tallahassee that offers the services I need under my insurance. I have never dealt with a more unorganized corporation other than H&R block whom I will never take my business back to. You all should look into improving your customer service and customer experience. I have no clue what's going on, but you have now lost my business, and my families as well.

Absolutely terrible customer service. Spent over two hours in the office waiting to be seen and having x-rays. Did not even get my teeth cleaned because everyone left at 5pm on the dot. So a 3:20 pm appointment they did not have enough time to get me seen and clean my teeth before 5 pm. Was then charged for an exam that I did not receive and was told "if you sit in the chair that's a doctor's exam". So in total spent over $200 WITH insurance and WITHOUT getting my teeth cleaned for nothing. Absolutely terrible service and will NEVER go back.

My two visits to this office were awful. They were running extremely late, I didn't get back to the back until 45 minutes after my appointment, and that was after I arrived 15 minutes early to fill out paperwork. No one apologized or offered any explanation. Because they were so far behind, I didn't have time for the cleaning, and had to return for that, which is a whole additional issue.
They proceeded to do an around the head xray, not covered by insurance, without letting me know it wasn't covered, and without even looking at the normal xrays to see if there was a problem or a reason for the additional xray.
The entire office feels like they are trying to use fear to sell you on treatments not covered by insurance. The office is covered in signs warning of various gum diseases, and signs saying you should come in every three months (twice as often as is generally recommended).
When I returned for my cleaning 2 weeks later, they were still running late, even though I had an early morning appointment. Took 25 minutes after my appointment to see me, again, no apology.
They hygienist was extremely careless. She dripped numbing liquid all over my tongue. When she was cleaning, she left the saliva suctioner suctioned to my cheek the whole time, even when I asked if we could take breaks to suction instead. I had to remove it myself repeatedly when she turned to do paperwork, or something else, something I've never done before.
She hit my gums over and over again with all of the tools, including the water spout, so it's obviously not part of the cleaning. This includes a vibrating plaque scraper (I assume), which actually hurt even though I was numbed. She was more careless than any hygienist I've ever had with the normal plaque scraper, hitting my gums on just about every tooth. I don't know if she's always that careless, or if if was just because of my numbed mouth, but it was awful.

Dr. Pamala Good and her staff are absolutely wonderful! The care and professionalism I experienced during my visit was like no other! Going to the dentist has always been frustrating for me. Well I can genuinely say, it no longer is. I look forward to my next visit!!!! Keep spreading the Sunshine!!!!

I have a serious phobia of going to the dentist. Just thinking about having someone scrape against my teeth makes me so uncomfortable and anxious! It has literally taken me years to find a dentist that I trust whole-heartedly and Dr. Good has not only gained my full trust but has transformed my teeth into something I am really proud of! I also purchased the most amazing electric toothbrush, as per her recommendation; I don't think I have ever felt my teeth so clean from brushing them myself. I'll never go back to manual brushing again! She is super gentle and considerate, yet thorough! And her bedside manner is fantastic. She explains everything that she's going to do and why in a very clear, calm, and reassuring way and if I ever have any questions about anything I am always met with an experienced and knowledgeable response. She knows her craft inside and out and is clearly passionate about what she does. And her assistant Eileen was very sweet and also made me feel at ease. I came here on a recommendation from a friend, because I am way too nervous to explore the realm of dentistry on my own, and I truly couldn't be happier! If you're like like me and deathly afraid of going to the dentist, do your teeth a favor and let Dr. Good work her magic!

I knew that I needed extensive dental work and was a little worried about the procedure and the pain, not to mention the cost.
Dr. Good and her team are the professionals that you can trust with all of that. My initial visit for a crown took half the time that I had experienced in the past, with virtually no pain or discomfort.
Coming to Coast Dental was one of the best decisions I could have made. Thanks, Coast Dental!

My experience at Coast dental has been excellent . The staff and everyone is very polite and they give you the information that you need . Its up to you what you do with it.

I'm always terrified of dentists! Today was my first visit here and I was pleasantly surprised with the wonderful administrative staff, the assistants and the doctors themselves. Everyone took their time to explain things to me and they double checked to make sure I understood. We set goals together for my health and established action plans fo reaching success!
