Coast Dental is terrible when it comes to customer service. Except for the new dental hygienist they recently hired which made my visit better than the black woman who barely does her job at controlling the front. Holly, the front receptionist, greeted me and my sister with a rude attitude and presented us with paperwork before our visit stating that we needed to be added to their “list” through our insurance company to receive service. Going back and forth through our insurance, my insurance stated that it was not needed and I should be able to receive service. Not to mention, while this was going on, Holly left the receptionist desk to go to the “bank”, leaving someone who didn’t know what they were doing or what to do about with my insurance situation. After 3 hours of waiting and going back and forth with Holly, they scammed me a bill of $300 saying it was this high because of the services I needed. Which was apparently wrong, this dental office/Holly, additional charged me for items that I was not aware of to be added to my bill. Please be aware of getting scammed and the unprofessional within this dental office.

From personal experience dealing with patients. it’s very important that you make your patient feel comfortable enough to know that they are in good hands. Empathy is crucial when dealing with people.

Do not recommend at all. 0 stars. We had 3 appointments scheduled over the past several months and no matter how many times we confirmed (text message, phone calls, etc) every single time we showed up they said that we didn’t confirm and they cancelled our visit and could not/would not work us in. After wasting time and energy 3 separate times with no effort on their part to work with us (due to their mistakes), we have given up s as no will look for a new provider.

Finally found a dentist that takes my special needs brothers dental insurance...I was assured of that. Make the appointment 2 months in advance. Day before his appointment, I get a very rude voicemail telling me the dentist doesn't accept his insurance and cancelled his appointment. What??? I call back and again am rudely told when questioned, that their new dentist doesn't accept his insurance. Now I have to find another dentist to get his broken tooth fixed. We HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!!!

In response to your automatic reply...why should I try AGAIN??? I tried multiple times and after finally getting through, they were just as rude as the Blairstone office! I wouldn't send my dog to your "establishment"! Actually that would be cruelty to animals! So save your auto-reply to someone else who cares!!

Coast Dental has one of the most friendliest staff around. You are greeted with a smile as soon as you walk in. I take my daughter there and she loves it. They are so sweet, loving and caring that she doesn't need me to go back there with her. The front desk staff are extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Holley is amazing!!!!!!! My family loves this dentist office so much!

1. They sent me away because after making an appointment almost 4 months ago, they said the provider did not accept my insurance. At the time they said they did.

I was referred by my insurance company. DentaQuest was quite surprised when I contacted them today and told them the clinic on Blairstone refused to see me and why

Paulette is the single best dental hygienist I have ever met. She's thorough, takes her time, and explains what she is doing and why. I so appreciate how kind and caring she is and really feel like my teeth are being perfectly cleaned. The office staff is friendly and helpful, and the office manager took her time to patiently explain some of the details of my insurance with me. The office is currently in transition but I am excited to meet the new doctor.

I’ve been coming here for almost 10 years and I LOVE this dentist. Everyone at this office treats you like old friends, and it’s refreshing to visit a medical office where the staff and doctor are authentic, friendly, and welcoming. And Dr. Pamela Good is honestly one of my most favorite people in the world. She does top-quality work, and will not cut corners to save time if the work you need done takes longer than expected. I trust her completely. The only downside to this office is how far out appointments are booked; however, I feel this is just a testament to how popular and amazing the service you receive here is. I’m willing to wait months for an appointment because I know I will receive the best treatment.

This place seems like an insurance scam to me. At every other initial dentist visit I've been to, an exam, x-rays, and cleaning are usually done and covered by insurance. Not at Coast Dental. First of all I was told there would be a $50 charge for an oral cancer screening. Then I was told that I would not be checked for cavities and would not receive a cleaning until a second visit. Apparently at Coast Dental it's necessary for a dentist to recommend one of four types of cleanings before you can get one. First time I've ever heard that.
And after researching it, the internet can only come up with three types. Something seems fishy. Bet I wouldn't be a bit surprised if the cleaning that got recommended was the most expensive one. I wouldn't make an appointment here unless you just feel like having your insurance unnecessarily billed.
