They don’t seem to care too much about you’re well being. They’ll get the job done if they have to but they genuinely seem to be a fly-by-night crew. If you’re in even 10/10 unbearable pain don’t even try to go for anything to help sooth it bc they’ll just prescribe you ibuprofen and say sorry you’re in pain. 🤷🏽‍♂️

They are all super nice and friendly. It stinks driving two hours when my appointment wasn’t scheduled for what I told them I needed done. Other than scheduling issues I have never had a problem and I do highly recommend them!

I'm a new patient here and had a couple issues with my visit. 1) No one introduced themselves to me. I was waiting in the dental chair for awhile and eventually a man came but I had no idea if he was the hygienist or dentist or what. He did not explain what he was about to do before sticking tools in my mouth. 2) The cleaning was not thorough. He only cleaned the plaque off my teeth with pick tool, but not brush or floss my teeth like I've always had done at my previous dentist. I usually leave the dentist feeling like my teeth are the cleanest they've ever been, but this was not the case this time. I felt like this visit was a waste of my money.

The dentist is extremely reassuring! She did very quick work leaving me with almost no pain the next day after 3 extractions and a filling!!! She explained the process as she went. I have awful anxiety and Her assistant was very reassuring and extremely nice! They both made it so much easier to have all that work done! I’ve been to many different dentists and this is definitely the best!

I came in with immense oral pain, been dealing with this pain for a year now because of denial of insurance, they were able to see me pretty quickly and diagnose my problems , they also did 5 fillings quickly as possible, got two teeth extractions as well, all in the same visit , all together i got the care that I needed in that moment, I would say my pain was higher than expected and that it felt a little rushed , but for the amount of patients they had that day it was understandable , only thing I'd wish for was better pain management. I didn't feel heard when speaking about my pain , but Def got the surgery I needed in a very short window of time . I recommend this
Place for folks that need care asap. Ur never gonna find somewhere perfect but thus place will give u the care you need.

They used to have a bad reputation! But I can honestly I have had wonderful results when it comes to the service I have received.
One of the lady’s that helps the orthodontist, she is good. My Son had to have his braces rebonded and she got him in later that day.
Give them a shot ‘ I know for a fact they have changed from the old ways

Arrives at the Peoria location went in and went to front desk. Got daughter checked in at 1030 am

The person who comes out and calls patients in had a very low voice which the masks made even more lower. And we waited nearly 1.5 hours past the appointment time waiting. We asked the front desk what was going on and they said her name was checked off as not show up even when we got her checked in!!!

Then they called out a 2nd time and we could not hear them. Missed out another time and wasted another half hour

Went back to front desk and the dentist said she was too busy. We said. “Too bad” her appointment was at 11 she finally went in at 1230.

We were not happy. My daughter was not happy at all.

Hope the next appointment goes better. We r going to stand by the doors and wait for her to be called in!!!

In reading your reviews why don't you do everyone a big favor and go out of business! It's would be in the best interest of everyone! Now is as good a time as any. You are part of the Humana HMO Network as a dentist that services are covered under their plan routine X-rays cleaning for example! Why Humana would be involved with you amazes me. Do what I asked it would be your good deed for the day and save your patients from using your service! If you read your own reviews from patients that have used your facility you would realize it would be in your current and future patients to do better or close down the office! Your patients to have told you just listen!

I enjoyed my visit with the dentist and I was very well taken care of, my Dentist got to the root of my problem very diligently, I will very much recommend Familia Dental to friends and family.

After Optim Dental "accidentally" extracted 1 too many of my teeth I found it hard to be comfortable visiting a Dentist ever again; Optim did not notify me or reconcile-- just another cavity-ridden peasant to them.

While I can't speak for every employee or experience @ La Familia, I can say that Dr. Jakula has restored my faith in Dentists and Dentistry.

With every visit she has remembered who I am, executed her procedures with precision, and demonstrated a care that should be commonplace [especially amidst an office that looks perpetually busy].

PLEASE take care of this Woman as she has taken great care of her patients and deserves to be recognized for having done so.
