I was able to get an appointment right away and the young ladies at the front desk were so nice and efficient. I didn’t have to wait long at all to see the dentist. Everyone in the back, working with the dentist, were so kind and concerned with my well being. Dr. Patel was the dentist and she was so nice and explained my options very clearly. She pulled my tooth so fast, and without ANY pain to me. I would suggest, anyone that needs dental work, go to Familia Dental in Peoria on Glen Ave!!!!

I came in for a routine check up and cleaning. My appointment was at noon. While they were delayed, I did not have to wait long to be seen. It was at most I think 10 minutes. The young woman who performed the X-rays was polite and professional. The dentist came in promptly after the X-rays. I was given a clean bill of health. The dentist and hygienist came back and did the routine cleaning. I was asked to come back for the 6month check up. Because my insurance is particular I told the receptionist that I would call to set up an appointment when I check back with my insurance. They understood and told me to have a nice day. It was a good experience. I would recommend Familia Dental to friends and family.

I went there the other day because my guns kept bleeding my teeth and gums keep throbbing. They literally looked at my teeth for less than 5 minutes. Needless to say, I left in more pain than I came in with.

My husband went to get a dental cleaning and ended up with extreme cut and swollen gums and they still expect him to pay full price when all they did was cause more damage to his teeth. They didn’t even give him anything for the pain. We would not recommend.

The place was decently cleaned but my appointment was at 9:30 and I waited in the chair for over an hour with no word from anyone. The doctor came in and said I needed a root canal. He did explain things to me in a way my other dentist never had bothered to without rushing me out... then the assistant said I was free to go. I stopped by the front desk to schedule it and they said "we don't do root canals" which was confusing... apparently I was to be referred but no one said that to me. Now I wait...

My daughter had an appointment the dental assistant was very nice taking X-rays and making her feel comfortable. The dentist came in and checked her out told her she would give her an antibiotic for infection (still waiting). I would not recommend this place.

Was ok but the doctor he wasn't kind or gentle he didn't want to do what I asked he was rude and did not treat me in a fair manner even told me if I screamed or moved he wouldn't help me. The nurse was just like the doctor and said I couldn't yell or move he wanted to refer me to a surgeon outside my coverage area and all of that made me feel like I was not heard or understood by my dental care needs. I don't ever hope to have that dentist ever again and in my strong opinion he should not be practicing because I had to get temperamental to get him to do what I needed instead of what he wanted.

Dentist and assistants are awesome the prices are ridiculously high double of what anyone else was. I loved the people we waited twice as long as anyone else but the receptionist was trying her best and attentive to us. Had one extraction and my insurance was used up they charged me 619.00 just for one tooth pulled really disappointed in that. But was in pain and had no choice Familia should look at the costing really outrageous

My teenage daughter came in to have 2 teeth extracted. She currently has braces and needed this procedure for the ongoing succession of her orthodontics. We were placed in the very first room. We could still see the waiting room area and they could see us. There was no privacy at all- which gave my daughter more anxiety. As a mother I was emotional as well and seeing the public looking into our “cubicle” was not the experience either of us were prepared for. If using room 1 for extraction purposes there needs to be curtains for privacy as well.

Dr. Patel and Ms.Colleen are amazing! They have great energy and use my name which makes me feel important, not just like another mouth. I will continue to visit for all my dental needs as well as refer everyone I know.
