I had an amazing experience at Familia Dental, I’ve been looking for a new dentist for awhile now and usually it’s a pain being a new patient but Ryann at the front desk went above and beyond to help me get my insurance sorted and get me checked in super quickly. She was truly a blessing. I’d highly recommend Familia Dental to anybody. Especially with Ryann as your receptionist.

I went to Peoria for the first time. DO NOT GO. These people are crooks. I had a tooth pulled. The doctor was rough, they are in such a hurry for turnover that he couldn't wait until I was completely numb.weeks later I was still pulling broken pieces of tooth from my gums.They billed my insurance. I received the statement today and I was charged $1971.00. That is B.S. It maxed my insurance, I still have to pay $300 out of pocket. I read the reviews and seen others complain about this and other issues but I took a chance. I'm telling you now, unless you have government assistance do not go. I have had teeth pulled before without insurance and it was 10% of what they charge. Plus the others cared whether I was uncomfortable or not.

My 8 yr old son had a toothache which kept him up all night. I called Familia the next morning. They scheduled him for an emergency extraction in less than 30 minutes. I rushed him to Familia and they called him back super fast! Next, they applied the numbing agent and local anesthetic then gave it time to work. Finally, they came in and pulled the tooth in less than 1 minute. It was amazingly quick and painless. My son and I are grateful for what Familia did for us. You are our heroes!

My son was seen today for a braces consultation and not only did they explain the process of it all very well but were able to ease my sons worries to the point where he is ecstatic of the idea of getting braces. The office staff were a delight and Brianna was very helpful regarding payment options.

This place was great!! They did a fantastic job at keeping my daughter calm so they could do her teeth and explained everything very well! Great people, great atmosphere, and all around great experience. Definitely worth the drive to go to them and will definitely recommend them to people.

Staff is nice.
The only part I didn't like was the x-rays......they were cleaning my teeth and filling a chip....why did they need full X-rays???
I was told, because it had been so long since they had seen me they needed an update. Sounds okay, but really, they weren't doing anything but surface work.

I took both my children in to get rheir check ups. The staff was very kind. They explained everything that they were going to do to keep my kids calm. My son had to have a couple fillings and he has anxiety really bad. They kept him very calm and they were very patient with him. I definitely will be taking them back!

All of the staff were friendly and timely during my appointment last week. Assistant Tiffany was phenomenal and courteous during my time at Familia Dental. Definitely will be back in the future!

Went there (Peoria IL location) in early December 2022 for a very specific tooth pain. I pointed it out to the doctor and asked him to confirm for me I didn't have a cavity because it felt like I had a cavity. He assures me I did not. Come end of January and the pain is just awful so I go back. He's shocked to see me back so I express my concern because of the obvious pain I'm feeling. He is absolutely aggressive with my teeth negating the pain I've expressed. He says their first x-rays from my first visit didn't show that tooth so he doesn't know whats up (something he should have stated at the first visit) so he gets a new x-ray.. low and behold I've got cavity so bad I need a route canal.
He was SO negligent that I've been struggling with this pain for two months just because he was too lazy to get a new x-ray after I specifically asked him to look at my problem area.
Will Never go back and I recommend others don't either.

My lady dentist was terrible. I had a 9:30am scheduled appointment, I check in, eventually went to the back for x-rays, and eventually when the dentist came to see me she asked if she could do some one else first. I was nice and said yes even though I should have said NO! When she came back to me she told me she was WAY BEHIND and if I could come back in the afternoon. I told her NO I live out of town and had to travel from out of town for this appointment. She told me than I'd have to reschedule for a different day!! She said I can clean your teeth and that's it. She's a joke, she took the sander looking tool and went over my teeth in 5 mins and that was it. She didn't properly clean my teeth 😫 she didn't go between my teeth or anything close to properly cleaning my teeth!! It was a waste of my time and my gas!
