Dr Hop and Mel are great!!
Can’t say much for others who would never reply to my email. I sent 2 emails to Mere as instructed- wouldn’t give me her direct “0
email and was not allowed to talk to her when I called. Was told to send email to her attn at info email address. Communication in that office is nonexistent. If there was, someone would have realized my treatment plan changed. Thus, the cost changed. Boone at front could explain the statement I was given
If it were not for “Hop” and his superior work, I would never grace the door again. And why is there never the same people at desk downstairs? That should tell you something!! If you cannot keep good help, there must be something amiss in admin or management!!

They are the best, from the front desk, dental techs and to my favorite dentist Chad O'Leary. They explain the procedure, cost etc from beginning to end. No surprises!! Thanks for always making a not so fun appointment a GREAT experience !!!

Very unprofessional, felt discriminated against with the interrogative line of questioning during my initial exam. Dental staffed are liars and refused to offer me access to care after I asked for an explanation of why I waited so long to be seen, why there was an out of pocket expense and the visit was for an initial consult for cleaning. I recall having a similar experience over 5 years ago before i relocated out of state, decided to give them another try but i will be processing a complaint with the appropriate agencies. This practice does not support black People and will try to nickel and dime you out of your money. Racism has no place in Raleigh and I will be sure to expose all those associated!

If you’re considering going here for Invisalign treatment, DONT! I’ve been a patient here for a while, when I first started coming here Dr. Joy was my dentist. I started my Invisalign treatment in January 2022 to close a gap I have in my two front teeth. Dr. Joy explained my treatment plan and things were going good until she left. Since Dr. Joy left I’ve since had 3 new dentist at this practice, who were not knowledgeable of my treatment plan. The first dentist (post Dr. Joy) added buttons to my bottom row/tray, although no real treatment was needed on my bottom row, which caused extreme pain and bleeding in my gums. I went back for a follow up appointment and the first dentist was no longer with the practice and now there was a 2nd dentist (post Dr. Joy), I explained to the 2nd dentist that my gums were hurting extremely bad and hoped to get the buttons removed from my bottom row/tray. After hearing my complaint the 2nd dentist advised me to keep my Invisalign tray in (without switching to a new one) for as long as I can and just let the practice know when I need to come back for my new set. Which wasn’t the appropriate treatment timeline Dr. Joy originally had me on. So I went back for another follow up appointment and the 2nd dentist was no longer there and now there was a 3rd dentist (post Dr. Joy) I complained about my gums continuing to hurt and I also explained that I felt like my gap wasn’t closing on my top row because my top Invisalign tray was very loose. The 3rd dentist then explained that my gap was not going to close because my teeth were too round and that I would need to have them shaved to get the perfect smile. By this point I was furious because I’ve been on a Invisalign treatment for several months to CLOSE MY GAP and no one told me that I needed to shave my teeth to achieve that. I feel like I’ve wasted my time and my money on a Invisalign treatment that hasn’t done anything but caused me pain and discomfort for months.

Oh, it gets worse. I called a few days ago and asked if I could come in for a follow up appointment after having COVID during the holidays and the receptionist tells me I can’t come in because I “no showed” my last appointment, even though I called and told them I had COVID. Then proceeds to tell me the next appointment isn’t available until the end of February. So now I’m expected to wear my last Invisalign tray until the end of February. I asked to speak to someone and he told me he would have them call me back and THEY HAVENT! Please don’t come here. Save your time and money and go somewhere else. It is a hot mess.

Do not recommend this practice at all. Dentists come and go, good luck getting anyone to call you back regarding your treatment. I started Invisalign with them in August of 2021 and was told it would take less than 6 months for treatment. The first dentist I started Invisalign with left the practice and my case was transferred to another doctor. 6 months in, I still had visible gaps in my teeth from IPR performed by the first doctor. During the transfer, new trays were never ordered for a refinement, delaying my case even further. The new dentist I saw did her best to remedy an already poor experience, but then she too left the practice after a few months. I was transferred to yet another doctor this summer who took over my case and was discouraged from switching to an orthodontist. I'm nearing the end of this 3rd set of refinements almost 1.5 years into Invisalign with an uneven bite and visible gaps from the initial round of IPR. The third dentist I was transferred to has also recently left the practice and no one from Crabtree Valley Dental management notified me or has the time or urgency to call me back regarding my concerns. Wish I could say I was surprised, but I should've left this practice a long time ago and seen an actual orthodontist for Invisalign treatment. Waste of time and money.

I have been to many dental clinics but I have never received the customer service I got from this facility. The dental hygienist who took my x-rays, pictures , and cleaned my teeth was awesome. They are out to do the job and not to tap from the dental insurance as previous conics I have been to before. All my house hold have switched to this clinic after my first visit.

Everyone was friendly, but I got tired of their constant attempts to sell me cosmetic extras not covered by my insurance. The last straw was when a dentist who had never seen me before came in, took one brief look at my teeth, and told me I needed four fillings. He showed me as proof the stains near the gum line of the teeth. The thing is, those teeth have been stained the whole time I'd been going to Crabtree Dental and no one was alarmed about it before. I felt uncomfortable and switched dentists. On my first visit to the new dentist, they told me there was one tooth to keep a very close eye on, but no reason to do immediate fillings. I want to trust my dentist, not feel like they're just trying to squeeze money out of me. I'm glad I switched.
