The staff is exceptional! Brandi at the front desk is awesome and was very detailed on explaining all aspects of the insurance coverage. Had a team of people helping me. The dentist squeezed me in a second procedure because I missed a prior appointment so I didn't have to come back. It took awhile because she was juggling others but saved me another trip so I did not mind. Very happy :)

I give 2 stars instead of 5 for a few reasons. They had great equipment, and unfortunately were understaffed but they still made sure I was seen which was great. However...
I went there with a pain on the right side of my mouth and it's been really hard for me to eat the past few weeks. I couldn't figure out what it was so this was the reason for scheduling my appointment. I thought the two teeth that was hurting could need a route canal but I wasn't 100 percent sure that those were the teeth. They did some tests, and once confirming that the pain I was feeling wasn't in those two teeth they moved on and dismissed my problem. I was a little upset about this because I had made it clear this was a big issue and I was truly hurting. So, I went home and knowing it was going to hurt I proceeded to take a ice cube to every single tooth on that side of my mouth, and the third tooth I touched was the one that was causing it. Now I have to reschedule and take time off work just to have them tell me that this is indeed the tooth causing the problem and then make another appointment to get it fixed which is going to take months to get through this process when I struggle to eat. It wouldn't have been much trouble to take something cold and put it to my teeth which would have taken a few more minutes.
When i went there I felt like Aspen Dental was not focusing on me as a customer, only seeing the big picture. If they would have taken a few more minutes to take my problem seriously and try and figure out where the issue was coming from my life would be so much easier and I would probably have my problem fixed by now. So in the end of this experience I felt thrown around and like I wasn't seen properly or that my appointment wasn't given the proper time it deserved.

Had all four of my wisdom teeth out here. Surgery went fine and the surgeon was kind but the other staff was very rude and does not make you feel less nervous about anything. The staff that was helping the surgeon was not nice at all. Since my surgery I have called the office to ask some questions and no one will get in contact with me.

I would give Aspen Dental five stars based on my recent experience. I initially arrived almost in a petrified state because I had not been to the dentist in a while and because of past (crummy) experiences with dentist/staff. However, I will say that EVERYONE in the North Syracuse practice is knowledgeable, professional, and most of all KIND/FRIENDLY which goes a long way in my opinion. # "if you cannot relate to me/my experience....then do not touch me....I "CAN -NOT"....PERIOD!

It would be nice to name certain individuals (everyone from intake, assistants, hygienists, technicians, manager, and last but not least the dentist). No strange looks, no judging "messed- up grills" ....I recommended them to family/friends.

Disappointed by my last visit. I had two extractions done and my lip was cut open in the process I wasn’t told until the end of the procedure and didn’t realize how bad it looked until I got home. Straight up look like someone punched me in the mouth and split my lip. No recommendations on how to care for it no comment on it other than “it’ll go away in a few days” it has caused so much difficulty in changing my gauzes and doing any kind of care on my open wounds because my lip is also split open and causing so much extra pain. Needless to say next time I will be going to where my insurance recommends .... very disappointed.

Hygienist did a great job. Have not been able to afford to have my teeth cleaned in many years , I'm sure it was no easy task but she did great.
my appointment was for 6:45 pm , unfortunately her appointments prior to mine canceled and she sat waiting for me for 2 hrs. Aspen tried to call but could not get through. If she could have text me I would have got the message and came early. Thanks for waiting.

Aspen Dental was wonderful! I scheduled an appointment online as a new patient having trouble with a molar. The manager called me the day before my appointment regarding a problem with insurance. They were very helpful and polite on the phone. Upon my arrival, the staff greeted me warmly. Everyone was pleasant, well prepared and well informed. My new patient exam included a full set of digital xrays which were reviewed with me in detail once I entered a treatment room for the consultation. The dentist examined my teeth and reviewed possible treatment plans for the troublesome molar. Upon check out I was pleasantly surprised to find that my entire visit was free and they did not have a large treatment plan in mind. My experience at Aspen Dental was fantastic and I scheduled a cleaning for this month even though my insurance is no longer accepted. I highly recommend Aspen Dental.

I went in as a new patient for a check up and cleaning. Next thing I know they are trying to sell me $130 toothbrushes $3500 Invisalign and saying my gums are all infected and I need an expensive gingivitis treatment and prescription mouthwash that they happen to sell and they have on hand. Went home did some research and found that they give pretty much the same spiel to everybody. Aspen dental is a big box store that only cares about selling you products and making money. Canceled my appointments and will be going to a private dentist.

Horrible place, deserves zero stars, rude people that even if they make a mistake and tell you the wrong time do not correct the error by accommodating you. Especially Brian who I can not believe they do not fire. Perhaps management isn’t aware of but he was very condescending. Asked that I change my appointment to another Aspen Dental and would not do staying that they aren’t going to do that, telling me to wait out in my car or he would get someone to throw me out. Update: spoke to the manager (Liverpool) at a different location to try to move the Invisalign over, said could not do and assured me that Brian is on vacation next week to schedule an appointment. I reluctantly went since I have already paid for the entire procedure. Upon leaving though, there is Brian. It’s nice that they can lie right to your face. Generally states we really don’t care about your feelings. I am going to finish this treatment there and never coming back for anything.

Ami, at the wausau Office did an amazing job cleaning my teeth during my regular dental cleaning visit. She conducted herself in a very professional manner and knew what she was doing. She made me feel at ease and I felt very comfortable during the entire procedure. Ami willingly suggested ways I could take care of my teeth. I will definitely come back to this office in the future. Thank you Ami for the great job!
