Familia Dental

Very upset about the time was we spent waiting. Wife even called to confirm appointment after it had been rescheduled 3 times. We showed up at 4:40 for a 5:00 appointment and didn’t see the Dr until 5:55 when the office closed at 6. A phone call would be appreciated if appointments are running behind-we’re asked to be early and it’s extremely difficult to keeps kids in an office for that long for less than 5 minutes with the Dr

Appt. with Familia to get a crown and filling done. Mind you a crown is apparently a 2 hours appt window, and is a reschedule from July cause they can't figure out their own schedule and cancelled on me saying the dentist would be out. The filling has already fallen out...twice, so this would be their third attempt. Show up and they ask if I'm ready for my cleaning and x-rays...uh no, that's not what the appt. is supposed to be for. Oh well sir, we only scheduled you for a 30 min appt. and won't have time to do either the crown or filling. Next available for the crown is February. For the filling I'm supposed to be on a cancellation list and come in every day around noon to see if anyone cancelled.

If you need anything more than a cleaning and x-ray, go elsewhere. Their scheduling dept. and office don't talk apparently.

This dental office is phenomenal. They have the best district manager and the kindest, most friendly, organized, and professional office staff you could ask for (especially Brittany). The dentists and orthodontists are superb. They are all wonderful with children. I have been taking my family here for years and am very grateful to have found them.

My dentist was closed and I was having terrible tooth pain. They were so friendly and the dentist did all she could and got me antibiotic and pain meds until I could get in to my dentist. This was late on a Friday and I’m thankful for all the help! I would recommend them.

Bri and the entire staff are so kind. We have enjoyed familia dental in Decatur for 2 years. Our family always receives great care!

Waiting takes forever 2 & 1/2 hour's employees really nice my apt don't take as long as a waited. Going again let's see how fast they are my second time back.

Corporate company and experience reflects that. Dr. was working on 2 patients at same time staff wouldn't leave him alone and he was stressed and didn't know what was going on. After I got back in office I sit and waited for 1hr before Dr briefly told me I had to return another day. I live 3hr away. Not recommended for anything use with caution.

Horrible, went in with my wife for a cleaning and he kept hitting her gums 14-15 times and apologizing only to do it again and again. Then during the cleaning he kept stopping to discuss across the room ordering pizza for lunch. The appointment was at 12 and it wasn't until 12:45 we were actually seen which is the same wait as our previous visit. He also claimed she had a cavity where multiple previous dentists have confirmed there wasn't. An appointment was scheduled for both the filling and next cleaning without consulting her, 6 months later! Who schedules a filling 6 months later? The dentist was an Asian man purely for sake of identification. He at one point talked about another dentist within the familia dental group stating "I don't consider them a professional, they're more of a manicurist than a dentist". He was very rude and clearly in a hurry to get done, because when he finished the cleaning he said just said "thank you, bye" as fast as he could and in the blink of an eye was gone. We will be finding a new dentist and advising others to not subject themselves to such poor treatment.

They are great all around. The receptionist, the assistant, and the dentist were all great! Fast, patient, friendly, helpful, with great communication.

Everyone is very friendly there and the dentist himself, is very knowledgeable and patient and answers all of your questions. In my opinion he is one of the best dentists ever, and I've seen a lot of them! They're all very helpful, thanks Familia Dental.😊💓🦷
