With all this pandemic going on I would think that there would've been more help in trying to get my payment well taken cared of and that the cost that was brought to my attention would have been more accurate, instead of me being called back after my surgery to go back and get my refund. Also I noticed while sitting in the waiting room, waiting for my name to be called, just so happen the surgeon that worked on me was complaining about the incident that he encountered on his way to work. Let's just say that Maui is too small, that everyone should be more careful when they talk because you might not know who is related to who and it was just unacceptable hearing that as a patient.

Grateful for Dr. Adamchuk and nurse Joanna for taking care of me when I was dealing with severe pain from a cracked tooth. I feel so much better.

Tara was very gentle, explained everything as she went along and gave some good advice about caring for my teeth.
Dr. Yunah Park's exam was brief but there didn't seem to be any problems to discuss other than I think she mentioned "the infection was almost cleared up" and only later I was thinking to myself, "what infection?"
The extraction 3 weeks ago was very painful for 10 days, then the pain became more intermittent and is now brief, a couple times a day. I did not expect so much lingering pain, having chosen extraction rather than repeated visits and huge expense for root canal. Thought it would hurt for a couple of days and then be all over. Not what happened. No follow up as I have had at other dental offices; No one called to check up on me after extraction. I am happy with the people I have met at HFD but I miss more personal care I had with previous dentist office. Just giving you the good and the bad since you asked.

Edwin was my hygienist and did a great job. They made my whole experience very easy

Dr. Rizik & Tara are my favorites! They are super sweet and make you feel comfortable. I was stressed out and nervous about my appointment today, I haven’t had a filling since I was a kid but Nathalie & Dr. Rizik did an awesome job and I’m super happy with her work! She even brought me a blanket because she could tell I was cold, she’s so nice! Tara is also super friendly and personable, she does a great job, makes me feel at home and always make sure I’m in and out of there pretty quick which is cool. The only reason I gave 4 stars is because there was one lady at the front desk that checked me in who wasn’t the friendliest.

This was my first visit to Hawaii Family Dental. They have a brand new impressive facility located in the Queen Kaahumanu Mall in Kahului. Check in was fast but I had to fill out many pages of health information which took quite a while. This would have been much easier if they could send this electronically to patients willing to do it this way before their first visit to expedite the process. I thought I was going to have a cleaning at my first visit which was the primary purpose of my scheduling the appointment. Much to my surprise the first visit consisted of 18 xrays, a full mouth panoramic xray and consult with the doctor (who was lovely). I was then taken to a consultation desk to review my recommendations and to make an appointment for a cleaning which was many months out. Fortunately I was put into an afternoon slot on the same day - but it wasn't the best option for my family convenience-wise. I thought the cleaning was going to be included in the first visit and this should have been explained to me when I made the appointment. Upon my return 3 hours later, I had my cleaning which was fantastic. Totally liked Keith who took care of my cleaning and a fluoride treatment along with providing valuable information to keep my mouth healthy. Overall, I would say Hawaii Family Dental is an excellent establishment but could tweek a few processes to make communication and paperwork more transparent and efficient.

Great place! I’ve been to many dentists and my teeth are very important to me. My entire family has always had friendly service, and the design and layout of the office is beautiful. Would definitely recommend.

Keith is a terrific hygienist. He has a friendly manner that helps me not to be so stressed about being in the dental chair. He is skilled at cleaning and makes the experience better than I generally fear it will be.

Love Dr. Hank he does an awesome job and the kids really look forward to seeing him! They’re great on getting you in at the time of your scheduled appointment and everyone was very Friendly.
Only thing I would suggest is maybe some new chairs in the waiting area out front as those are a it yuckie.

They were very professional from greeting at the door, temperature checks, and health questionnaire to my actual dental hygienist Keith who was waiting with protective gear on. I felt very safe that they were putting mine and my hygienist best interest at heart. Keith Yurevitz is the best and I recommend him highly. He is always truly concerned about the best way to help me keep my teeth and gums healthy.
